  1. Ah that's good. My firmness of comment was motivated by care rather than disrespect. There's a good fb page called firewood banter or some such name that is pretty helpful too.
  2. Cancel the order for the splitter. Unless you're talking of only doing one lorry load a year? In which case, wasting your time buying in, even at that marginally lower price. My most serious concern however is you not knowing the answer to the question of how many ibc crates a ton (of what wood?) would be filled. Lorry loads to crates is irrelevant as there are various lorry sizes. Are you buying hardwood/softwood, ash or sweet chestnut? Processor size or oversize? You need to get a handle on all this before spending a bean or contemplating a business.
  3. Yeah I had a blower motor that would only run at speed 3. Changed the separate resistor but made no difference. Changing the whole blower inc mounted resistor thing and voilà
  4. Whereabouts are you roughly? Ta
  5. I know by the start of December we'd had approaching 1000mm since the start of the year. 750mm is normal for here so it's probably likely that we've had pretty much 50% extra by the end of '23.
  6. Ask for a white one as opposed to an amalgam one....
  7. What else do you expect from the New European?! Pure Starmerite Shite. Ftr, no opinion about Michelle Moan, I bet she does 🤣
  8. What would you expect to pay / charge per day for an 8 tonner with good splitter on it? I'm looking at a Blacks one from Fuelwood. 👍
  9. £210 for 1.8 cube is very reasonable (£117 per cube). Nearer £145/cube here.
  10. Google maps on my phone, Waze etc etc thinks I am in Edinburgh. I'm actually on the train near Birmingham! What's that all about?! I'm not on WiFi either. Bizarre. Done all the usuals - restart phone etc etc. Any ideas, thanks.
  11. Or thermally transitioned to the gas and vapour phase. Except for bones and teeth.
  12. The Beautiful South. 🤮🤮🤮
  13. Definitely not. Blimey. Only a trip down the rabbit hole. I'm a perfect example. Brother in law has had all the jabs and boostas and is constantly ill, and currently with covid which has floored him for the 4th time. I'm not jabbed at all. Never had covid. Been in close proximity to a roomful of live covid sufferers for hours on end. Never got it.
  14. Thought we'd left the EU?! I'm missing something deeper sorry.
  15. I'm thinking the smaller ones aren't as good. I've got the 3000A one (will get a pic later) and it's been faultless. It's started a 6.8 litre diesel iro 20 times before needing to be recharged. A note re charging - even though it is officially fully charged once rhe green light is on, it will carry on pulsing for a full day (ooh er). Leaving it til it's stopped pulsing may be the key to ensuring proper performance.
  16. If the OP doesn't have the ability to figure where to a) buy stuff from and b) do the research for insurance needs and prices they are incapable of running a business imo. Needing their hand held - on steroids. Shaking head in disbelief. I admire those with patience to gently reply but find myself asking if this is a wind up?
  17. Nothing to do with "covid". Everything to do with VI Antibody Dependent Enhancement.
  18. Read this somewhere yesterday: Andrew Bridgen held his presentation tonight. A few MPs turned up, (around 12 I think), but some left after only a short time. It is shocking to find out that there were discussions on how to tell the public about the jab issues without frightening them, and also concerns about causing civil unrest if the public find out. On X it is circulating that apparently Andrew Bridgen said the government wants to wait 20 years before saying anything. I don't understand this. If they want to wait, then they know? People are not picking up on this particular point. Kirsch did mention the NZ data. Not sure which MPs stayed until the end. Maybe Ian Paisley. I don't know if there will be a recording. I'm getting to the point where I feel these presentations are pointless. Hardly any MPs turn up. The media do not cover them. The vast majority of the public do not know about them. Hence the crimes go unpunished and the perpetrators carry on with the next round of subjugation and rights stripping, leaving everyone who knows what's happened really angry and feeling like there will never be justice. Estimates are that 17 million people worldwide are dead from these injections. Incredible that half the planet still think they are safe and that the government and pharma have done nothing wrong and are benevolent entities. But there we are.
  19. I would pick the Tajfun over the Krpan, mainly because Wilsons are now now the agents for Krpan and Kilworth are excellent.
  20. As all the above really. Enough to make me want to quit the log life. Absolute battle. Customers not interested in genuine factors. Mega hardwood shortage this year too - well reasonably priced hardwood anyway. Kiln or die I reckon.
  21. Benjamin Zephaniah RIP. Too soon. 😥. Really great guy.
