  1. Adjustable bridge over the river Kwai
  2. Ive just swapped from Atrax to Black widow. Very similar rope design only the BW is a touch fatter so easier on the hands. Both run very well through my SJ3.
  3. yeah 11.5 to 12.5 seems to be the sweet spot. Petzl says they run 13mm but they don't. Just got some cousin black widow for my spiderjack 3 and it runs like a dream.
  4. If i was in your position, id offer to pay for it... However If it was one of my lads, id appreciate the gesture, but wouldn't take the money off them.
  5. He was probably only on 2 ropes because you were watching
  6. No more news on this? he mentioned it would be on sale before years end but i guess that's a bit optimistic now!
  7. Back on topic, the newer 560xp is a Lot better than the 2011 model (my experience anyway). My 2011 had issues with heat and warm starting, eventually seized up and turned into a parts donor. The 2018 one I'm still running hasn't missed a beat. Recently used a Stihl 400, nice saw to use, plenty of grunt. Much better than the ms362. I personally prefer the size of the 560, seems a bit less bulky to me when used off a harness. Splitting hairs though Echo 7310 is a solid saw, lots of torque and hasn't put a foot wrong, but probably a bit big for OPs requirements if he's looking for something in the 60cc range
  8. Did you check temperature gauge? or the "engine disable" plug on the flywheel hood?
  9. 8 inch all day. The weight etc is not that big of a deal, you'll work around it, but as mentioned watching forks get crushed and chipped is a thing of beauty
  10. Time to break out my Addidas tracksuit and don a bottle of vodka whilst having gunfights over aluminium factories? but this time its all streamed live on Instagram?
  11. 100% was USA for reasons given above. Russia is currently staying afloat financially by selling oil and gas to Europe and Asia. Why would they blow up a pipeline that's paying for their war effort? The US wants to cripple the Russian economy, and one way of doing it would be scuppering their gas sales to the EU. They've hinted at it before, but now its done, naturally their gonna distance themselves from responsibility, as admitting it would be tantamount to a declaration of war on the RF
  12. My previous one saved me during a bad pendulum swing a few years back, head impacted a willow trunk and the lid took the brunt. was still in one piece but with a few stress marks so i replaced it. We're all made different though so its logical to assume people will get on with some designs better than others! all subjective
  13. Out of Myself and all the lads, I'm always the last one to remove my helmet when raking up etc at the end of the job. I just don't ever feel uncomfortable in it, unlike them with their (other brand) lids who throw them off as soon as the clutch is disengaged on the chipper
  14. I used to have a Husky arborist lid. But now i have a Protos. The range of pretty colours is the deciding factor, and most important aspect of any PPE
  15. After trying numerous brands, I've come to the conclusion that the Protos lids are the most comfortable, but also last way longer. My mate refused to spend the money and is now purchasing his 3rd petzl lid in the time I've had my Protos
  16. who's the LOLER inspector knocking about in the Norwegian sea?
  17. THIS ADVERT HAS EXPIRED!

    • EBAY LISTING
    • USED

Having a clear out, getting rid of our old Entec (or what remains) No engine included as it seized due to cooling failure years ago, May be of use to one of you as these are hard to get parts for now. was in full working order when the engine went, with the exception of anti-stress if i recall correctly. we can lift it onto a trailer for collection. call or text Steve for any more info 07917430260

    NO VALUE SPECIFIED

    Waltham Abbey, Essex - GB

  18. you sure its stress control box that's broken? Clutch started slipping on my 75xp and that knocked out the stress control, as it works off engine not flywheel rpm. New set of clutch pads at £80 and its sorted
  19. No way that was a S/D. Tighter fight than last time, but still a clear Usyk win. Last 2 rounds AJ looked like he was spent and started fighting dirty. And that post fight tantrum by AJ, true colours came out there, the mask slipped big time. Taking the limelight away from the champ, absolutely disgraceful behaviour for "stay humble" AJ
