  1. This is something that matters to me, we've got trailed Bandit 75 atm and the build strength is next level compared to Forst and TW etc. Means that machine feeding it with the digger is no problem. I'd love a tracked 12xp Bandit but they're simply too big for a lot of the canal and wetland sites we work on (footpaths, tow paths etc) TP look nice
  2. Won't be Santa, he exclusively uses a MEWP these days due to his size and age
  3. TW280 looks good, have they released one with a big stage 5 diesel yet?
  4. They were for a split second, then got recalled for a pin or something. Now looking at Jan/Feb I think. Reflex is half the price so I thought worth a shot, if the blackbird comes and looks better I'll give this to my lad to use as he's on a ZZ now
  5. Sounds like Land Rovers business strategy!
  6. What are you running now Mick? still got the Forst or changed it?
  7. Honey Bros now have a few of these in stock if anyones keen to try. I've ordered one for Tuesday delivery. My Spider jack 3 is approaching 10 years old and I can't wait any longer for the Blackbird! Will report back
  8. Not spoilt for choice in the 8" diesel tracked variety though? 4 off the top of my head, one of which is hybrid?
  9. Aggressive feed until the top roller shears off its hydraulic motor, as happened with a few I know of.
  10. Better than a TR8? Genuinely in the market and looking at all options
  11. Apart from that, how do they chip compared to an ST8 for instance? The forsts chip very well from my experience, only let down by the build quality.
  12. Got the Swazi jacket through, seems nice, fits well... not rained at work once since it's come! Thanks for the recommendations
  13. These double cab trucks all seem like they tow well, until you tow with something better. My Ineos Grenadier hauls 3.5 ton like it's not there, but even new defender/disco/range rover, cayenne V8tdi, American pickups as mentioned.... you go back to the 4pot trucks and it's no competition
  14. Tuckwells who are the Jensen dealer for the S/E have been reported as saying they're unloading stock due to Jensen being no more? May be in the market for an 8" tracked machine, and they have an A550 on tracks in stock... but if its a case of no dealer back up or parts then I'd probably pick a TR8 for the same money.. even though it's not built as well? Anyone got any experience with the A550? Any good? Heard its not the same Doosan lump as the ST8
  15. Echo offerings may be good to look at. we run the 621x or whatever its called, 60cc pro saw. heaps of grunt, build quality more solid than the 60cc stihls or huskys, starts so easy everytime. Slightly down on power and heavy compared to the other 2 brands but id bet my house it will outlast them
