  1. South, near Toulouse. Thank you Steve. Thank you Stubby. So far it's all gone wrong but maybe one day it'll improve.
  2. 241s are still available. They're now M-Tronic though. I almost bought another in Feb and still might pick one up. I prefer Husqvarnas but it's either a 241 or a 440 for me in that bracket and i like the 241 a bit more.
  3. Thank you, topchippyles!
  4. Hi all! I'm Moose, in North London. Been reading here for a while but only joined up today. Changing careers from working as a mechanic to doing tree surgery with a friend whose done it for 15 years. We were supposed to move to France in April to set up a company there but Covid has delayed that. Trying to raise money to get all the CS tickets and get there now.
  5. Mine came from Germany a few months ago. Cost a fortune and i like it so much i've still not used it. I need another so i can hang it on the wall! I have a 3120 so that covers the big saw work for now.
  6. Hi allseasons. I bought my 572 in January, and it's been perfect. Not a single problem. It came with a 20" bar which seemed a little small and it now runs a 28". Pulls it just fine, has plenty of power and it's very smooth. Easy to start, pretty light for its size. I'm really pleased with it, no complaints at all. I added the West Coast kit to mine, full wrap handle, bigger dogs, larger clutch cover. I like it even more with that, it's a great saw.
  7. we have a Stihl 241C with a 15" bar on it and it's a great saw. Very light and comfortable to use. Ours is well used and gives us no problems at all. Not used a 261, but i'm very fond of the 241.
  8. I bought mine in January, it was used but had seen very little action. Not had a single problem with it. Starts very quick and easy, never takes many pulls and even without using the decomp it's easy to start. Very powerful, very smooth. I run a 28" bar on mine and it pulls it just fine.
