  1. Just get a customsaws Echo 2511 and be done with it. 👍
  2. So what did you mean to say when you wrote this, as it seems like a straightforward statement?
  3. You been on the crack? I haven’t said anything of the sort, I haven’t mentioned good quality meat at any point in this discussion, shit quality cheap meat and its production/ consumption, yes. You said that it’s not possible to sustain a human on fruit and vegetables, you are wrong, it is possible and is happening in its millions right now.
  4. You can blame Gareth for that. 👍
  5. Total bollocks. The whole world wasn’t covered in Ice and the majority of people didn’t live in the poles. The vast majority of India, and that’s a lot of millions are strict Vegetarians, sustained totally on fruit and veg, my Doctor is one, you should do some research👍.
  6. And living in modern times. 👍
  7. You can’t even have a discussion about the modern meat industry without someone going in the attack, usually attacking some imaginary vegan who doesn’t even exist. Militant Meat eaters who have swallowed decades of meat industry propaganda, who’s conscience is pricked and go on the defensive. It always seems to be worse with people who don’t hunt, hunters generally get it.
  8. It is now though. 👍
  9. Why, was there a famine on all other edible foods for thousands of years except meat in the paleolithic age?
  10. Mostly vegetables, rice, past, eggs and sometimes a bit of fish on Friday. Unfortunately wild reindeer isn’t wasn’t available.
  11. True carnivores have a mouth full of canines, we have 4 out of 32, that should be a simple way to explain, even to someone wearing blinkers, how our diet ratio has developed, humans are designed like wolves, where do you get this shit from?😂
  12. There is a huge difference between hunting for meat in inhospitable areas where foraging isn’t viable, and eating cheap meat daily, supplied to you with no effort at your local supermarket, where there are hundreds of alternative foods. When I was a kid we ate meat on Sunday, maybe some paste butties in the week, compare that with today’s norm, then factor in the fast food establishments, Macdonalds, Burger King, KFC etc, not common when I was a kid, now in every high street, packed out selling cheap processed meat products but nothing to do with the obesity epidemic.😂
  13. You are aware that only around a quarter of the earths land mass was actually frozen in the Ice Age right?
  14. Whatever it was it wasn’t farmed.
  15. So I have mentioned Soya Bean production and US style of cattle rearing currently being discussed, hardly ALL agriculture now is it? Would you disagree that these two examples are seriously damaging practices? Cheap food, be it meat, milk or vegetables come at the cost of two things, the environment and the person/people who produce it, or do you disagree with that statement also?
  16. Show me where I have said that all agriculture is bad.
  17. I have my own eyes, I have lunch at work with groups of people most days , it is unusual if they are not eating some form of meat, then they tell me they are having a nice steak for tea, that is my experience, I’m not vegan or vegetarian so what have they got to do with anything?
  18. I haven't said anything of the sort.
  19. I don’t think anyone is, just as the UK, Europe and USA are not the entire agricultural world.
  20. There is also the rather large issue with Soya Bean production, and the subsequent deforestation associated with it. Again to produce feed for cattle worldwide, again , to produce cheaper and cheaper ( Shiter and Shiter) meat. We need to address the diet issue and reverse the farming methods that are commonplace in the US rather than replicate them worldwide.
  21. I’m talking about the intensive rearing of cattle anywhere, not just in the US, including the feeding of cereals fit for humans to cattle, and growth hormones to produce cheaper and cheaper meat. This is all a symptom of over eating meat, meat every day and sometimes more than once, we have never had this behaviour at any point in our evolution, this is the problem.
  22. It’s the only way if you insist on eating meat for every meal and every day, that’s never been normal behaviour at any point in our evolution.
  23. I don’t work with Navin, but I trained and assessed a few of his guys a good few years back. I was conducting a lot of felling and re-planting in the collection when he got the Arb contract at Bedgebury Pinetum, hence they got to do this take down. It was actually a pleasure watching any of his teams set up on site, organised, methodical, efficient and aware of the public safety aspect on such a high profile site. I don’t think we have met.

  25. Do they currently sell pheromone traps for the Queens in the UK? They can be bought in any garden centre/B&Q type shop here, lots of people installing them whether they keep bees or not.
