  1. They full up on the wards now then? They having to put you out in the communal gardens [emoji6]
  2. Slight frost here, couple of squirts of the old de-icer was enough. I absolutely love frost and cold weather, snow etc, think its ace [emoji108] i wind everyone up at work, sat with heater on like a set of old jesses, (i keep turning it off [emoji51]) If they moved about a bit more and did some graft then they’d keep warm! Hate and detest it when its freezing cold and raining though, thats just an arse!!!
  3. Not restricted to one vehicle on a operators licence no, you will just declare what vehicles are applicable according to operators licence rules. Visit the .gov site it’ll explain all.

  7. The bloke who installed ours said that we should have it swept once a year by a hetas registered sweep which automatically covers you then on your home insurance. ?‍♂️ Still not had it swept yet tho [emoji39]

Evening yolky! Yeah as you’ve said, and also they want the older stuff cos its basic mechanics, they can fix em at side of road using pretty much owt, from a dead cows leg for a leaf spring to a womans turban for a fan belt and the likes. So its pushed prices up on 2nd hand stuff and export market big time. I’ve fancied a crew cab hilux on a 04 ish reg for last 12 months or so, but for one with reasonable mileage, good body and good chassis , your looking at £6k+ [emoji33] one will turn up tho, and i will invest [emoji51]
  16. Suppose even if i did go for a blower / vac, if i didnt gel with the vac scenario, i’ve still got a blower ??

For anything £6k or under, i’d recommend anything really, just try staying pre 56 reg to avoid DPF related issues. 2nd hand Pickup’s are in a strong market money wise at the min.
  18. I’m still pondering, billy goat not really going to be bery practical for me i dont think, just for transporting and storage reasons more than anything, and its no like its gona get huge amounts of use either, its only for domestic use and not professional or business. Totally get the blowing in to piles scenario which alot and yourself are suggesting, but dont wana be blowing other stuff around at same time either (bark chip, slate, stones etc) The suggestion of the echo over the stihl was a good one, simply down to fitting the attachments, stihls are very fiddly and awkward looking at some reviews and vids, as you mentioned in one of your earlier posts, but the echo’s are simply insert and twist collar to lock. I’m gona stew on it for a bit i think. And i have no previous dealings with anything echo, although they do offer a 5yr guarantee on their product which i think is good.

That tow hitch looks very high Mark [emoji6][emoji39]
  20. Can you remember what model number it was?
  21. Hey i’m happy Mark, sounded like you got a resolve! [emoji106][emoji2] Vesp’s just bitter cos hes not on podium again! He’ll get over it....., eventually! [emoji51] we may have to suffer some ear droning for a while, bit like tinnitus..... but it’ll pass! [emoji106][emoji39]
  22. Alright woody paul, home is more flagged areas, my dads is mainly grassed areas with flagged paths, and then there is always the other odd phone call here and there...... can ya just [emoji30] ya know how it is!
  23. Thats my only put off, size and storage.... but is the most sensible and valid option really up to now. I’d be fine with a handheld at home, its just the involvement of everyone else’s where i’ll fall short.
  24. Re read my post “oh masta” i said all “unbraked” trailers..,, so all “under” 750kgs prob wont be looked at..... you really are argumentative and chuffing annoying for a Tuesday night, its only the 2nd day in to the week..... give it a rest please! Mark got a resolve, i contributed......, you didn’t ?‍♂️ just accept defeat will ya! And yeah post some pics of your finished result please. Some close up shots then i can really pull ya to bits with all ya blemishes [emoji51] and DON’T paint it before ya do, that cheating as paint hides a multitude of sins! ? peace up vesp ya “Skip Rat”
  25. If its not a braked trailer then people prob wont look or bother, if its braked then it matters and your in the shit. For Mark’s interest its about just being lawful, looking right, professional and above board. You keep routing and bodging ya skip rat, i know which way i’d wana do it anyhow!
