Hello all! In early to mid July I'm moving to the general area of Liskeard in Cornwall, from Hertfordshire. Ideally I'm looking for full time work, long term, as a groundie. So if one of you has a vacancy to be filled or know of someone who does, I'd appreciate being put in touch! Happy to provide references in testament to my experience/ character/ work ethic if you'd like. I have had 3 years experience and I hold my CS30 and 38. I have had a lot of climbing experience in this time, so can provide efficient support to a climber as I know well what they require from ground staff. If required I'm happy to provide my own rescue climbing kit/ ppe/ saws. If your workload also includes countryside management, orchard work and conservation these are also areas I'm very interested in. Thanks man! I've not used it's predecessor so can't really comment, but I will say that this saw was a dream to use. Loads of power and super smooth through the cut, really munches it's way through happily. Pulls it's way through without needing to push into the timber. Seemed very fuel efficient too. Rate it way above the Stihl 362 that I've used a few times previously

Hello all, I'm after some boot recommendations. I've had a pair of Meindl Airstreams for coming up on one year, and they've been a nice, comfortable boot. But unfortunately a fair few construction quality issues has left a lot to be desired. When I have to replace them (before the end of summer at this rate) I'd like to go for something different as I'm just not convinced by these. A friend of mine has had a pair of them for about a month and they've started falling apart. Has anyone else had these issues? So what I'm after is some alternative boot options please! Majority of my work is as a groundie but I do a fair amount of climbing, so would like something lightweight. What other boots do you rate well? I've had a brief look at the Husky Technicals and they look nice, but has anyone had any experience with them? Thanks in advance! Will

Definitely recommend a Stihl 261, had no issues with mine since buying it a few years ago. Light and plenty of poke

2010 Ranger 2.5l, getting a solid 30mpg out of it -Edit- I do have a a fairly streamlined back on it which as Mick and Steve have said does make a difference
