  1. I have an electric version, and use gloves lined with pipe in fingers. don't like it but the blade will cut metal as well, so only use it with old timber with nails in. Bought a brill saw with blade enclosed, you push the wood towards the blade with a a big metal tray. very safe and quick (sorry can't remember what you call them)
  2. as above, many thanks
  3. No, think you need more practice!! I'l let you practice on my kitchen (brill job)
  4. I have one, the heat is great, but you can get condensation, I leave one half door open and punctured the top of the sides and ends making half inch square holes, had a few, this improved air flow but as in the sides and ends did not let much water in and cured the condensation. great for keeping drying logs. i cut fresh cords, store in tunnel for a year, then ready to use. there brill for storage in secure compound.
  5. oh well, thats that then, many thanks
  6. any good, for small busines, or is a 1.3 engine just to small, carrying logs, tools etc. ta
  7. any more details re the above
  8. Well they obviously had a crap GP, the right antidepressant in low does can kick the mind into action, needs monitoring weekly, takes 10 -14 days plus to work, obviously need therapy on top. other suggestions on here are good. ask to see local ATS if things are terrible can be seen by psych, ask gp for referral
  9. see GP (Dr) you could try a low dose of an anti depressant, the doc will need your exact symptoms, to match a antidepressant to them, many types with different effects. also could ask to see a specialist for some CBT. Can try setting yourself little goals, each day, then try and achieve them, then a bit more each day etc. The very best of luck
  10. the tirfor has worked for me on such hedges, as long as you have the anchor points, as to size of tirfor, think about future use, so go one thats manageable to carry etc but has the largest capability / strength. can't tell you the weight of mine, but its a pain to drag around with the wire rope, but it'l pull unto the strength of the user lol. good luck, oh and iv'e just used straight pulls, but been lucky with strong anchor points
  11. All my waste including fence panels, sticks/branches I cut up bag and sell as kindling. time consuming but works for me (I don't have masses i.e. not working 5 days a week)
  12. i use a lot branch waste as kindling, i cut it up, bag it and sell to people i know. draw back is its time consuming, i pile it up and once a week spend a day cutting
  13. would all the above not happen when going forward as well. if only reverse ? gearbox ?
  14. i was wondering when sold, there set not to run at full throttle so to speak, to run in, then your meant to take back to dealer for service and they adjust to enable full running. though having said that iv'e never taken mine back, or adjusted them, though might try on my crappy mitox (spare) piece of junk lol
