  2. Trakmet gets my vote, strong and practical and won’t break the bank[emoji106]
  3. Seems complicated to me does it also apply to hung up windblows?
  4. So assuming for arguments sake 1 tree = a cube, you can fell 5 trees but only sell 2. What happens to the other 3? Hardly a profitable investment for an average farmer, ok he could get a license then he can’t cut them himself it’s all too much red tape

  16. Trying to buy research speaks volumes in my book, taking a month to chase up sellers that post sales then don't respond because it's already sold at £95 a ton plus vat one can naturally assume it's in high demand or shortcut
  17. Maybe, I blame modern overheads killing the markets
  18. Blimey is nobody cutting larch anymore, it's like rocking horseshit at the moment
  19. Go for an old cast machine (wadkin boas) or similar they last forever and stand a lot of hammer! The finish is far better too
  20. She would have a field day with that!![emoji51]
  21. Looking for larch and cedar for milling in Leicestershire, max 24" diameter also looking to take any oak available too for future projects
