  1. Thesnarlingbadger, I disagree with Steve. An eye catching brand is important as in the beginning of a new venture it's the first face a potential customer will judge you on. Take your time to get it right. It doesn't have to cost a lot at all and you can come up with something good with font work. I designed the Gardenscape logo in illustrator with some simple tweeks to a font. There are two versions, the letter "g" is used across social media and online, and the full version I use on my fliers where there is more space to play with. If you can get your hands on illustrator or I design you can get something made up and you will also have a true vector format that ideally you want when printing material and vehicle signage, etc. Photoshop is not for logo design and has a steeper leaning curve than illustrator and indesign.
  2. Here mine. Do the photography and logo myself. It's a customised Wordpress theme I bought for £14. I have no idea why people pay huge bucks for web design these days. A bit of knowledge in css and Wordpress is powerful. All mobile and iPad ready. Tree Surgery and Hedge Care , Derby | Gardenscape
  3. Haha Dean, I was more worried about it not fitting! I've bought some new longer folding ramps now and manual puller which I fix to the bottom of the ladder rack using a lanyard and a karabiner. I have a factory fitted ladder rack which is welded and doesn't even move when taking the weight of the M400. The M400 fits perfectly with 50mm to spare on the length inside the tub. I am getting a trailer to put the M400 on as it's just easier, but if you are starting out and selling the benefits of chipping on site then the pickup only setup is brilliant. Here are some more shots. With the quick release option the chute can be removed and the hopper folder over.
  4. Hello! I am on the search for a local lad (Derbyshire), who would like to work with me. The areas we cover are generally Littleover, Mickleover, Swarkestone, Melbourne, Duffield, Findern, Repton, Newton Soley, and surrounding areas in Derbyshire. Qualifications Minimum - NPTC CS30, CS38 Preferred - As above plus CS31, CS39 It's essential that you have your own climbing kit and PPE. This is an opportunity for a newly qualified climber to gain experience in a new tree surgery business. I am looking to work with someone who is enthusiastic, reliable, polite and approachable. We will be working together throughout the day so I'd liked us to think on similar levels and be able to have a conversation together. It would also be good to bounce ideas off each other during jobs to get the best out of us both. At present the position is part-time but as the business grows it will be more regular, hopefully. Please send me an email if interested. [email protected] Thanks.
