  1. Can you imagine the amount of minimum wage earners needed to replace someone no longer contributing £50,000 a year in tax? Forget minimum wages earners, how much middle earners would be needed? In Angus the average teachers wage is £36,000 a year and pays £4,700 in tax. You would literally need ten additional teachers on this wage paying tax to make up the shortfall of one of your mates dropping out of the tax game. And before anyone mentions National Insurance these folk (Myself included) pay class 2 NI which is £3 a week. So ten teachers (who are already a tax drain) needed for each of the 4 of your mates saying GTFO to HMRC. Potentially 40-50 teachers wage equivalent needed to replace the lost revenue of four disenfranchised ‘high’ earners.
  2. They’ll need to significantly need to add employment when you consider that someone on £20k a year pays tax on about £7500 which is peanuts. But opens them to a raft of other “benefits”. Potentially making their ‘contribution’ null and void. Someone on £140,000 a year bringing their wages down by £20k a year will result in a loss of tax revenue of around £12,000. Even if someone on £20k a year claimed no benefits (🤣) they’d pay £1500 a year in tax. HMRC will need eight people earning significantly over minimum wage and who does not claim a penny in benefits to replace the lost revenue collected by one single ‘higher’ earner pinching his/her belt a bit. The idiot masses will never ever compute the simple economic truths of Liz Truss proposals for prosperity.
  3. And deny HMRC a significant portion of my hard earned wages? No way!
  4. The reality for me is exactly as you predicted. I will significantly reduce my working time to stay under the threshold. It’s a win/win for me.
  5. Eggs, you’ve no been outside of England for a considerable time have you? And popping over to Europe is hardly big shakes is it? Even then I doubt you’ve left England since Covid. I doubt I could find a more English -centric POV if I tried.
  6. You travel all over Eggs? All over where? England? 🤣 You need to get outta your little Englander Box wee man.
  7. Everyone with a triple digit IQ seen it coming. Everyone. Covid alone told us that billions blown needed recovering. Forget everything else and that was all we needed to know that the shitshow had just begun. A world on the brink of turmoil was the icing on the cake. It’s gonna rain before the weeks out Eggs! I predict it and when it does I’ll smugly tell everyone how accurate I was when it does.
  8. You predicted what every one already knew though. Its like predicting the Sun will rise each day then posting it on here and boasting about being correct the next day. 🙄
  9. The NHS needs dismantling though. It’s not fit for purpose and has not been for decades, certainly since the Blair years. It’s a crippled system that’s is bloated with pink and blue haired middle management. The sooner it’s gone and we get what you alluded to earlier the better. You actually ask for this. 🤣
  10. I get the ick whenever someone mentions cordwood. 🤮 Same as folk using the word burl for burr. Double ick. 😁🤮
  11. A dirty old man soliciting pictures and videos of what the law considered a child or at least a juvenile whilst pretending to be the voice of reason and decorum on the news is at best disingenuous at worse he’s a pedophile. He needs knackered then hung.
  12. You’d have thought a Stool master would be right into Trannies.
  13. If I dont get through to my Dr unless Im one of the very lucky few who manages to get a line at 08:30. Its a total shit show. Even if I do I have to give my personal problems to a bloody receptionist. Its then passed to a 'nurse' regardless of the severity. Thankfully I have private healthcare in Norway or Id be screwed. Nobody who is a net contributor should be held hostage by net beneficiaries. Unfortunately the left has allowed the tail to wag the dog and now we're in a position the 'right' has warned about for decades and its somewhat laughable we now have the bleeding hearts slowly watch the penny drop. Too late though. So thankfully they're more f?cked than those on the right who seen the writing on the wall.
  14. In last 10 years I think Ive paid an average of £60k tax a year. Thats £600k total. Ive been in Norway since 2009 so since then its at least £700k paid. Thats not including my UK NI contributions. 😮 Thankfully HMRC see a very small about of of my tax. Self employed folk dont know their living! No wonder they can survive on such a low day-rate.
  15. Cash is king. Simple as that. So many folk happy to get on their knees and do HMRCs job for them.
  16. I bloody hate heights. My brother on the other hand thinks nothing of it. We climbed up to Preikestolen and he walked right up to the edge and leaned over and took some pics. Its 3000 foot right down to the fjord. He then sat down and took some pics and wanted a few of him. He then said it was my turn. I had to shuffle on my arse from about 3 meters away and it took all my strength to swing my legs over this leaning ledge. Kjeragbolten was another arse clencher for me. I got out onto the rock and near died inside. I asked the missus to look at the pictures and had her finger over the lenses the whole time.
  17. With a shorter stroke there's more revolutions. Perhaps thats why my step count is so high?
  18. Im the registered keeper if that helps?
  19. Right now my daily is my daughters Corsa. Does that mean Im back to having an averages sized one?
  20. Me neither, I was just trying to lighten the mood. I can imagine using powered equipment will vastly increase the perceived 'hand movements' due to the vibration levels. Regardless of what actual calories I burn Im fortunate enough I can eat like a horse and drink like a fish and at 44 years old still maintain the physique I had at 18. If fact I still wear a lot of clothes I bought in my early 20's.
  21. I like big American Pick-ups so my dick is automaticly smaller than everyone else's.
  22. Thats what I actually eat a day. But add a bottle of wine and 8 beers.
