  1. I was told not sold 😁 Didn't think about it to start with. .then the fuel at the pump got me thinking. ...
  2. No I'm not happy with that weight, that's why I weighed it! I think 45p /mile on motorways and salesmen driving on roads is good however as Steve said I think it's over and above of reasonable expectations..
  3. They offer 40p for everything..times are tough probably down to their last £5 million
  4. I'm working for someone for the summer, using my own truck. It's full time so not just the odd mile here and there. Well they only pay 40p, got finance insurance and all that to pay out of my own pocket. Rather have it parked up anyway and not have the sh*t beaten out of it..especially if they are only covering the fuel, but it's hard to work out.
  5. Been asked to use my d max for work, driving around and to fields and towing a 14ft ifor (weighed in at 6.5t over the bridge!) The gov website says 45p/ mile but what do you think is fair for this?
  6. Just always seem to be welding it up! I think it would be perfect for the use of stacking 3m lengths of seasoned spruce.. however in reality, the everyday lumps within the diggers capibility is not within the grabs capibility!
  7. Just a word of warning. . . Don't over use it, or buy a welder!
  8. You wouldn't want any smaller really. . It does a good job but it works hard. The takeuchi has a good flow though!
  9. Can't go wrong with takeuchi my tb125 is bomb proof, easy to fix and has hell of amount of power for its size. .the 230 can only be better?
  10. Missed the 'tons' bit just assumed volume. So just x on the weight per m3
  11. Length x width x height x 0.75 for air gaps
  12. Having the saw pinned open is a great idea[emoji15]
  13. I had a meeting last week..have the money upfront, provide a list of quotes before you buy... prove it has 5 years left in it. Guarantee that your gran is nice person ect. Ect..
  14. Update? Bets on the outcome. . .
  15. Not long, at a guess like half an hour / hour ish. I did this acre field in a day comfortably, and it was too uneven to get a tractor in and all dense scrub (Fwi I have cut a track in this, it was all as high as the stuff on the left of the digger)
  16. Go on the map search, more defined on boundaries. Matt
  17. The motor is protected now, old photos! And the flail is that way so I can get close to the digger as reach is no problem just getting close enough was! [emoji58] and yeah.. the cab guarding is on the list to do, spends more time digging and not in the woods all that often! Are they custom made? Couldn't find any for that machine. .
