  1. My saw is (I think) the latest model, has the part number changed to 544097902? A lot of the sellers are saying the 01 part has been replaced with the 02 part, but want to be sure it's still the right one... Sent from my XT1039 using Tapatalk
  2. Cheers guys, great help! Was just a little worried and didn't want to mess up my only chainsaw :-P Sent from my XT1039 using Tapatalk
  3. Hey guys, been following Arbtalk for a while now, and finally gave in and made an account [emoji14] So, I've had my Husky 445e for a little while now - got an amazing deal on it (but that's another story), and the tool-free clutch cover and tensioner is really starting to be a pain. The tensioner slips, the bar nut comes loose and frankly it's peeing me off now - either I have to overtighten it and run the risk of damaging the saw (already had the clutch drum overheat once!), or have it all coming loose every hour or so and the chain derailing because the clutch cover's about to fall off. I talked to Husqvarna and they said sure I can swap it for an ordinary 445 clutch cover, but that I must get a qualified Husky technician to do it for me to make sure it's the right part blah blah blah, and won't tell me what the part number is or where I can purchase one. I'm fairly new to all this (started last September), so I don't have much of an idea where to get info or buy stuff from - and I figured you guys might be able to help! So yeah, any advice on part numbers, sellers, hints and tips about changing it over would be very welcome! (I've got my ticket for maintenance, felling and crosscutting, and because of my travel situation I have to remove the bar and chain at the end of every day, so I'm pretty confident about it, just thought I'd better check if there's anything I should know about putting a different one on).
