  1. Is it not true he humped abbot whilst dragging her all over Eastern Europe on the back of an MZ 🙄. Gutted bud I thought highly of him for that. A man of steel 👍
  2. Pretty much spot on. My mother whom is sadly suffering from Dementia, not helped by the restrictions and pure bollocks we’ve had to live with for 18 months which is now thankfully just about done with south of sturgeons wall, was pre covid in hospital for virtually the first time in her life other than childbirth for an operation, She was as a young woman a nurse herself in the RAF down in Ely and commented on the sheer numbers of nurses and staff stood around doing not a lot. She also observed a good number of them being like “House ends” Mark J will get that one. Now the NHS in itself is a great thing and I’d never say anything different, how it’s gone on to be run is a different thing all together.
  3. Referendum would be nice post Brexit on the matter.
  4. Eggs these dicks coming on TV every day spouting shit have no more idea where these drivers are gonna come from than you or I 🤷‍♂️. Makes me laugh when politicians keep talking of calling in the Army, yet year after year they keep cutting its numbers. Total of all UK armed forced 149000 ish, total NHS workforce 1.2 million, of which over 50000 are on £100k a year plus “often much much more” There’s something badly badly wrong with those figures in my eyes. Fuel crisis if there ever was one was a creation of the media, somehow it didn’t get to NI or rural Aberdeenshire in my case. Mind you I did hear Iron Bru is in short supply but “only in Scotland”.
  5. I’d not totally abolish the NHS but I’d agree with getting rid of the huge numbers of massively over paid administrative staff and managers the current system supports. It’s an out of control inefficient money pit at the moment that’s barely functioning in the role it was created for.
  6. I actually agree with most of that Mark 👍
  7. Lol no just being cheeky to Mark J and his not not post
  8. Lol that’s me and citizen smith having a bit of banter, not like it’s Der Sturmer is it !!.
  9. It’s a beacon of light and truth in an otherwise socialist left wing namby pamby non binary PC woke media for me 👍
  10. Those headlines are all true Mark 😀 you not not like the Daily Mail or something !! lol.
  11. UK winter crisis: How fuel shortages, energy price hikes and an NHS backlog could cause chaos APPLE.NEWS Will the UK have a winter crisis? Wankers quite frankly
  12. Good Morning Britain and BBC Breakfast under fire over recurring theme APPLE.NEWS Both programmes were slammed by viewers over their handling of coverage relating to queues at... Quite god to see at least some are seeing through the Media sensationalism and hype that has created a problem rather than reporting on one.
  13. Regards the Static 3 phase type set up Big J is definitely far more clued up on that type of set up than myself. I spoke to him regards the set up of my own mill which helped tremendously before hitting the buy button. A few of the issues I’ve encountered he had experience of the same and engineered in his own solutions ie roller guide upgrade, the wider and thicker the blade the better I’d say too if it’s an option to upgrade. They are reassuringly built like tanks.
  14. Whey spec you looking for ? Mobile or static ??. I know the build times are getting quite long for certain models, mobiles with Honda power units are up to 12months I heard.
  15. If required J to keep going as a business I’d not bat en eyelid. To be honest I’ve not seen Commissioner’s on the road or a checkpoint since the start of the covid farce.
  16. Goal has been achieved now, next crisis will be created from bugger all in a few days by the media.
  17. Fuel supply crisis: Grant Shapps blames haulage group for creating 'manufactured situation' as pump chaos continues APPLE.NEWS The transport secretary has said "there's plenty of fuel" in the country as he urged motorists to... Not my favourite politician but he definitely called it how it is with the RHA today, cheap Eastern European drivers is exactly what they want and what contributed to driving many out of the industry in the first place.
  18. I do love a cynic Mike 👍👍very very true though. It is like you say quiet money ie no brashness or in your face opulence just ticking along living a good life and maintaining the status quo
  19. Assisted marvellously by a willing media and a gullible public. Shame the government seems to have folded albeit only for 5000 drivers.
  20. Yep tweaking 👍 full on socialism I think we all know historically is doomed to fail. The Scandinavian capitalism with a conscience is probably the only one I can look to as a success but I don’t think necessarily all those living with it would totally agree.
  21. Petrol giant Essar on brink of collapse APPLE.NEWS One of Britain’s biggest oil refineries is teetering on the brink of collapse, piling further... I think it’s about time the post Thatcherism full on free market thing needs a tweak. Yeah I’m conservative in my outlook and believe you should if possible stand on your own two feet etc, but have always been of the opinion that services and industries essential to a nations basic survival should be state owned. Andys analogy regards the sticking plaster being pulled off post brexit I think is not far off the mark.
  22. Like I say bud a period of rationing might be better for the NHS than an overpriced vaccination drive.
