I think I’m close to what I can sensibly tow Les to tell truth. 2.4m wide and 3m tall so have to watch where I go with it.

Well Les it’s a big commitment for sure, paid a chunk extra to get the wide head option and heavy duty chassis rails etc, tried to set it up to hopefully cover most of what I’ve got planned. Pawel has been sound to deal with bud throughout the whole process. Leaving the vessel on sat morning from Newport docks and heading up to his place to get some instruction on the computer set works side of things before I go home.

Out of respect mainly just as was the case of the B17 I mentioned earlier, if it can be positively identified and then confirmed lives were lost in a plane then certain steps are put in place, That particular site was designated as a war grave and a wreath was laid by US representatives. Thanks for that, few onboard had suggested something similar with the detentes but the shape at the end is throwing most. I did a job a couple of years ago off Belgian coast and what turned out to be a B17g was identified on the cable route, we ended up with a guy onboard whom had a complete parts manual for that model and was able to confirm the identity using a retaining ring we recovered from the port wing landing lights made from non ferrous material which had survived pretty much in as new condition.

Could well be 🤷‍♂️but very decent quality steel for that.

Maybe but that’s from same patch, very high grade steel that has very little surface pitting etc.
