  1. Couple of times I’ve had to take a second bite on a cut at a log with a bend in it after moving it to allow posts past. Bit of a hassle to re level but often worth it.

I apologise, my mistake, I misread your post. You didn't ask a question. However I'm sure you were trying to make some kind of point, and it probably wasn't in favour of vaccination, but I may be wrong .................. great news if you have finally seen the light. God you don’t like to be wrong do you but this time yep you are. No point to make just an interesting and surprising feature on the radio nothing more or less. Don’t keep apologising man.

    Covid-19

So you are saying that BAME Doctors having witnessed first hand and knowing the true risks and consequences of catching covid are choosing not to take the vaccine for religious reasons and whatever they see on social media. What question did I ask that I apparently answered 🙄.

I know you do love love love a question but I didn’t ask one I was merely putting up some evidence of what I’d heard on the radio this morning 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️Simples

Misread !!! I can’t post the link for some reason but it’s easy to find. That was what the R4 article was about. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

I said a surprising percentage are not. That was the gist of the report on R4 from one NHS trust. Untrue you say ??

Drs!!!? How do you mean? You think that qualified Doctors are not capable of weighing up the facts for themselves.

Must admit I was surprised myself at the numbers in the report on the radio. R4 at about 0500 ish

    Covid-19

Couple of interesting points on R4 this morning one being the limited take up for the vaccine by health care professionals from the Black and Asian communities and unbelievably from Doctors themselves, one NHS trust of 20000 employees reported figures of only 37% for the above groups of staff and I think 50 something % for Doctors I didn’t catch the exact % for the Drs as was driving at the time. The other one which sort of gives credence to the attitudes of Unions was the outcry from the union reps about demeaning and humiliating staff etc by the DVLA at Swansea. Apparently they sent out a questionnaire probs part of a risk assessment I’d imagine asking for waist sizes of individuals if above 34 for women and 40 for men. They justified it by quoting the increased risk from covid if the person had an overly high BMI. One to warm big Js heart I’d imagine.

To a point Mark otherwise it becomes a piss take as well you know. Nothing in life is free in reality, the further education has to be funded from somewhere 🤷‍♂️

Higher tax in Scotland Mark 41% after £43350 if I remember correctly as opposed to 40% after £50000 across the border. So whilst Uni is seen to be free to students in Scotland in reality as with all things somebody is paying for it.

Furloughed worker who killed himself worried over money & panic bought £1 meals APPLE.NEWS THE SUN MOBILE APP Snowed in again today, looking at the news feeds and the amount of stories similar to the above is an eye opener for sure.
  19. So what you saying J you don’t like Trump 🙄. They need to go forward J as we do here and the only way to succeed and pull people together is for someone to break the mould so to speak and try and govern for all not just the most vociferous elements within their support base. 🤷‍♂️ Easier said than done for sure.
  20. J the thing is it was never ever gonna go through and everyone knew that, in reality all it has done is divide people more than before. To lead and win a nation over the road forward is the same as in Scotland. Prove you are better, come out and initiate policies, programmes create jobs and improve people’s lot and lead a country to put it in a better place. Not like the SNP or Democrats are doing ie constantly meaning and backbiting etc. Words are cheap and politicians are the cheapest of them all but results are what counts. You can’t argue with facts. Trump was and still is supported by millions of working class people whom feel totally betrayed by the democratic elites. Biden has to get them onside which he blatantly is not even at this early stage. Scotland is the same if the SNP could lose the hatred for the union and in Sturgeons case a barely concealed anti English attitude and go out and turn things around to say hey look how ****************ing amazing we are then maybe rather than being a party of envy and griping they might actually pull things in the right direction. Both the Parliaments ie Holyrood and Westminster are an absolute shambles beyond belief quite frankly, the potential is huge yet we are squandering multiple opportunities to turn things around massively in this country.
  21. Trump defiant after impeachment acquittal APPLE.NEWS Former US president Donald Trump has been found not guilty in his impeachment trial. Totally divisive and an utter waste of time.

    Covid-19

Numerous studies have shown that teachers are at no more risk of catching the virus than any other group. I do agree that in order to at least keep the unions happy and give confidence if required that teachers should be on the list to be vaccinated early. Far more justifiable than a total misappropriation of resources to vaccinate what will in all reality be primarily young male illegal immigrants.
