  1. So from a harvesters point of view the stack thats 22ton totals to £990.(how long does/did it take to harvest that amount?) Also Theres alot of talk on here about the price of cord and how high it is (that price is alot lower than some that have been mentioned) so my question is that do u think you earn good money at those prices and that where others are chafging 70 quid a ton are high or are they just just earning a fair amount and due to lay out cost thats what they have to charge?   2. Does anyone know if the weather is going to get colder in the new year because it hasnt shown any signs of doing so, and even down south where theres been no flooding its still been raining regularly and its been heavy. Not to mention some of the strong winds we've had.
  3. just of interest ive never bought cord so how many tons roughly would each stackbe i.e the 2nd what would that be. a a guess id say 10 ton, am i anywhere close haha
  4. Its been a steady flow for us doing deliveries every day without being to pushed, definitely up from last year also seems to be getting a little colder in the last few days aswell, still roll on 2016 and merry xmas all!
  5. I agree with keeping it local, and maybe we should start planting mire woodland specially for firewood, but is it profitable and will there still be a demant for fireeood in 40 years time
  6. As we're clising in on xmas has anyone seen a rise in sales or a drop in sales. And this summer weather we're having has it seriously effected any of you guys?!
