  2. just an update on the aftermarket pot and piston..it lost all compression. tried a new piston but no luck. no damage just worn out, not to bad after 4 years. just received an oem kit from the states £126.00 delivered incl customs.....not sure if i can post a link
  3. hi again..i went with this kit and it has been fine... https://chainsawpartsonline.co.uk/husqvarna-chainsaw-cylinder-piston-kit-44/ after i broke it in i tuned it to 12,500rpm and as above it's been fine no problems...ps i also fitted caber rings.

  7. no not the circlips...its the pin in the piston ring groove....as for the circlips i have a bunch of stihl ones
  8. hi...i have a husky 346 which needs a new piston, i have a golf piston. but have read a lot issues regarding the the ring locating pin comming loose and wrecking the cylinder. any one here any problems with golf pistons. so should i fit it or would it better to buy a meteor piston instead. thanks in advance
  9. i have just put together a hutzl 372...i just swapped out the recoil internals for oem and it feels fine now. i also put a oem brake band on as well.

  11. hi dan494....i bought one of there husky 372's a couple of weeks ago and i'm still waiting for it...did you get any updates on delivery? i know royal mail are the courier but there tracking system is not working...one more thing did you get stung for any import duties. cheers and good luck with the build.
  12. i had same problem with a 346 and it was the carb manifold.
  13. cheers..i have ordered a oem one but won't get it till end of next week. i will order one from the bay as well, and compare them for next time.
