  1. The Husky 357xpg is my main firewood saw but every now and then I use the 560xpg which cuts far quicker.
  2. I used a 441 for a couple of days but it wasn't the auto tune version with a 25" bar and it felt very smooth with plenty of power, I was ringing some big ash butts up and had the ms660 on the job but it wasn't needed the 441 coped fine.
  3. I did noticed the rollers were still turning when the revs were turned right down
  4. Not good then I had one on a job today (2007 model) with the intension of buying it but the stress control never kicked in once, although it never seemed to struggle with much I did try a couple of lengths 4-5 inch in diameter and they slowed it down a fair bit causing it to nearly stop at one point. Could it of been bypassed if so where could I look to check ? It's a shame really has it was in great condition and only 500 hours
  5. The man at Saturn told me there Timberwolf blades are made exactly the same spec as the originals but having said that he also told me my 560xpg would take a 24" bar as well.
  6. Do all TW150 DHB's have stress control ?
  7. I haven't sold any for a while now but I've brought a full load home today for next winter
  8. All my huskys have 02 and the id tag but none of them are 2002 saws you might have looked at the wrong number on the tag ?, my 346xp is an old 99 model with no decomp valve but still going strong (touch wood) lol

    Porting Saws

I've never had or used a ported saw but I was wondering if doing it would shorten the life span of a saw ? And what sort of benefits does it have ?
  11. I have a transit crew cab tipper and it's perfect for everything all the saws and tools are locked away out of sight and it tows the chipper no probs, I also have a small caged side trailer for the mowers etc so I'm not having to lift them up onto the pickup.
