1. My mates saws were stolen from his garage in Abercrave, Swansea Valley on Fiday night. The saws were both Stihl - an MS261 C-M and an MS170 (s/n 806765097). The 261 was in a Stihl carry-case. The thief/thieves also also took a Honda EU10i generator, which is red, and a black 60litre North Face Duffel. My neighbours mountain bike was also stolen from his garage on the same night! I'd be grateful if colleagues could contact me if they are offered a cheap 261 or 170 ior a Honda Generator of yellow mountain bike.
2. Does anyone know where I can hire a chipper from near to the Swansea Valley area - E.g. Swansea, Neath, Aberdare, Merthyr etc.
3. Rob Wells has done three jobs with me in recent months. Firstly to take down an Oak tree in a garden, which created a lovely space for the customer (She's delighted with it), then to pollared a Larch and finally to pollard 5 trees at the rear of a property in my village. Rob is a top guy to work with, he's a very skilful and experienced climber. He also gets stuck in on the ground once the climbing has finished. He works hard. He's also given me good asvice and top tips in setting my business up.I highly reccomend him. Look for Liam's Logs and Tree Services on Facebook to see the kind of work he's done with me.
4. Thanks, always interested in getting hold of firewood, and I'm only just along the M4, so you'd be a useful supplier.
5. Thanks very much for your help folks. I'll chase up all of these leads.
6. Hi does anyone know of a timber lorry and trailer available, with operator/driver, to hire in South Wales? I've got 10 ton of hardwood to load and transport from near Monmouth to the Swansea Valley in the new year. I'd be grateful for any information and help.
7. I like that idea too. I'll try it next week.
8. I'd be interested in helping get the wood out, but I don't have this equipment. But if anyone needs a helping hand I'd get stuck in for a share of the wood.
9. Hi, I'm after replenishing my forewood stocks. So if you are cutting in the vicinity of SA9 I'd be pleased to collect hardwood from you for a reasonable price. Tel 07967020928
10. Thanks for all the replies folks. They're very usedul. I'll keep persevering with the saw.

12. I've been losing the sprocket clips and washers that retain the rim sprocket on jy chainsaw. Its happens twic this week? Does anyone else have this problem, and if so have you been able to fix it? Also, the clips on the clutch assembly disintegrated, along with the needle bearings. Again has anyone else experienced this. I was considering switching to a spur sprocket to see if this helped at all.
13.
Hi Mart, how's it going?
