  1. Split em down till they are small enough to fit in the bay of a firewood processor, thats what I do. Stand alone splitters are notoriously slow and boring to use. Most of the time an axe is a lot quicker if the wood is easy to split. I have watched people spend all day on a vertical splitter and barely make up 2 loads.
  2. The guys got some balls. I like how he tells it just like it is
  3. Are there likely to be any good deals at the show or has the internet destroyed that? I miss the good old days
  4. Enjoyed the Dibnah vid but was hard to watch at times. I will use ladders but never feel that safe on them. The way he hangs off the ladder with such confidence!
  5. Used both, don't see much different between either to be honest. They are both a good professional saw that does what it says on the tin, destroy big wood!
  6. Thanks. I dont have a steam washer so will try with the boiling water method
  7. Hi guys, what is the best thing to use to clean hydraulic oil from block paving please? had a bit of a mishap the other day and the customer is non too pleased
  8. I can agree on some of those points, but not noise! I have found chainsaw to be far quieter than circular saw
  9. I am looking for something for loading timber onto a firewood processor and can't decide between a boxer or an avant. Has anyone on here used both options?
  10. What made you go for a circular saw over a chainsaw?
  11. Seperate business line is a must if you want peace an quiet!
  12. Well written and if only it was so simple to explain to my customers.
  13. I own a hakki pilke 1x37 which is going on 12 years old now. It has been a good reliable machine. Having said that, compared to some of the others on the market it feels a little flimsy. This was reflected in the price at the time, not sure what prices are like currently though.
