  1. Really enjoyed that. Nice video.
  2. Nice job, well done. Photos make a nice change from videos.
  3. Yup :-) came out quite easily though.
  4. Never got great penetration with my paslode....
  5. Removal of dead, dying, crossing, rubbing and duplicate branches. Just neatening up the crown, so it doesn't appear overcrowded or messy.
  6. I have them, they are actually orange! They are bright, yes, but that lasts a couple of days before they are grey/brown. They are seriously comfortable.
  7. Well done sir, you are an inspiration to us all.
  8. Thanks, me and the missus have been crying with laughter at this thread!
  9. A myopic tree surgeon named Lee Trapped an agile young wench in a tree Said she "move your whopper, you careless limb chopper That's a moss covered knot hole, not me'"
  10. Like what you've done there, Iveco. Very neat.
  11. Yup... A good friend wanted to use my saw on a Saturday, and I wanted to make the experience 'memorable' for him. He's a 6' rugby playing guts and glory type and I knew the pink bar would disgust/humiliate him in equal measure. Worked a treat :-)
  12. I like to customise my saws a little bit.. No one ever seems to want to borrow the 660 now :-))
  13. Just noticed that.. Nice one!
  14. Wrap a whole load of insulating tape round the buzzer. It will make it a hell of a lot quieter.
  15. Who is going to buy Joe's old elbows?
  16. So as the ram goes up, it pulls the log upright? Good thinking...
  17. Following this thread with interest. I know a lot of guys that would go for this service straight away. Keep us informed.
  18. Get on the phone to Trailparts (01923 253366) - proper trailer parts company in Watford, and they happily post next day. They even send out sweets n chocolate bars with every order.... Just been quoted by them £70 for genuine parts to fix a road tow air compressor as opposed to indespensions £150.....
  19. All welded construction, as opposed to bolted together like Ifor. Very good trailers, can seriously take abuse, I should know, I used to service them... Definitely recommend them, not better than Ifor but would be the only other make of trailer I would buy.
  20. Any pics? Sounds interesting....
  21. Snap-on original top is beech and costs about £350 from them.. Really nice to work on, wouldn't go back to plain old rubber. Fair play for attempting to make it, make sure you show some pics when you're done.
  22. Nice work Nathan. Look forward to seeing the video.
  23. Thoroughly agree :-)
  24. Stop worrying about the weight, it's not important. These logs have been 'Cut Up By A Professional Tree Surgeon'. That is what counts. Perhaps that makes them burn better. :-)
  25. Much as I love my landies, I'm with you on which vehicle I would rather tow with in that situation!! Good answer, Billhook.
