That's got to be its first thumbs up then Andrew. While all our toppers were out of action we picked up the new 201 and it's not the best thing since sliced bread.

  4. My advice is get the best web site you can afford and anything that comes in do in your spare time to start. hopefully it takes off and the decision will be made for you. That's what I did and hope this helps

Well TCD you may have a point but I cleaned and polished my 540 so much it fell in half
  8. You better go and buy a lottery ticket
  9. " " well I borrowed Timon's saw and I was being real careful but it just split in half"
  10. Because you bought it off Arthur Daley Al And Rob you sound more accident prone than me
  11. And that's after I got a bit of discount I don't think they will be selling me any saws anymore because they are way too pricey and no more repairs will be going their way either
  12. Not that I can remember Steve but I had smashed the handle so would the handle and tank be one piece
  13. :001_huh:the saw is back and the bank balance is looking a bit slimmer. This is what they listed Fuel tank £65.19 Cylinder cover assembly £17.90 Heat deflector Cylinder £3.32 AV Spring £7.20 Threaded insert £1.40 Hose £2.16 Labour £120.00 VAT £43.71 Total £262.28 :001_huh:
  14. How about a Spud'd 461
  15. Lunch break is a sarnie going from the first job to the second isn't it ?
  16. It's a total ball ache Mark. I done three jobs for two different developers at the same site. The first developer sent invoice paid straight away, the last developer demands CIS registered and takes 20% tax or no CIS and they take 30%. They may invite us back to do a week before the site opens. I may invite them to site on billiard and swivel
  17. Also it's important to consider which ones will make you ass look bigger
  18. When it comes back from the dealers i'll let you know exactly what they have had to do and then we can see how much they have stung me for
  19. Your both right and in future Steve will be been dealing with my mishaps and TFM will be supplying the shiny new toys
  20. Well after being made to do a couple of little reductions with a 550 desperation kicks in I was even made to wear a Stihl cap
  21. Yep I been told that's the feller . And Wayne I believe your saw was running better after I handed it back to you in one piece( or was it two pieces I can't remember now)
  22. You got to add the grey pan with AV mount on to that list oh and my local dealers labour charge (mortgage payment for villa in St Tropez) and it was pulling through a fork but I got a feeling the AV mount had failed before playing tug of war
