  1. Anyone said a strimmer yet? I would prefer to dig a ten foot hole in bed rock with a blunt spoon rather than spend an hour on a strimmer
  2. That's right stick to your guns. I picked up mine tried it out and the oil pump was pissing out the chain oil so took it straight back. The lad at the dealer said he would have a look at it. I told look as much as you like but at £540 leaving my pocket less than an hour ago I would be walking out of the shop with a new one and if that one was **** then I would be back for the Stihl.

  11. Yep I in worcester. I run a holiday park in the summer but I get the winter to myself so I looking to work with a climber who got a boat on the moorings thiswinter. So if you need a hand give me a shout. Yep I saw it last night. I reckon someone gonna pay £1300 by the end of the auction. Hoe much do you reckon?

  14. I wasn't happy so just took it back and they swapped it no problem.
  15. I just picked up my new 540. I love it but it don't half pump up the chain oil . I have turned the pump right down but there's no risk of the chain running dry. Is that common with the saw becos if it ain't then it's going back . Any advice please ?
  16. Just found it on tinternet. In September. I manage a holiday park so from 1april til 31 October I not allowed a day off . Happy f****g days that's another show I can't go to. I try to do saw work just in winter months but me thinks a change in career is needed.

  18. Just a quick update my local dealer will give me 12 month warranty and I discussed the problem you have kindly warned me about with the new husky and he will honour the warranty for these problems. So I will be collecting it Saturday morning.

  21. It does look like he was spinning me a line don't it! I gonna have to put the hoover around and wash the dishes then see how much pocket money I can squeeze out of my misses
  22. Yes that's a fairer rate and booking a year in advance is the way to go. Coastal sites take the Mickley a bit so going inland a bit will make a difference to your pocket
