  7. my 241 ran perfectlly for a year but in december suddenlly lost its power after 5mins use went to the dealer in the on every monday in january after trying using it over the weekends they tried carb resets and cleans but the electric carb was well and truly confused a new carb was put in (under warrenty thank goodness) and it has worked perfectly for three weeks but yesturday it completly died and today started in a cloud of smoke but only did two cuts and cut out. This saw is going into the dealer tommorow but will hopefully end up with stihl so they are aware of this major fault!!!!!!! just wondering if anyone else was having issues with stihls m-tronic saw because if you are stihl need to sort it out fast.

  10. i am studying a FORESTRY and Arb course so do get much time doing "tree surgery" (1day a week) but we have been able to do a lot of experimenting were we taught first with both ends of a line but moved on with in two weeks to lanyards and have done since the tutors are ALWAYS encouraged to use cambium savers where applicable (even tho most of the ropes are too thick to run through the large ring!!!)we are also allowed to use our own equipment if we wish as long as its lolered and so can use hitch climbers if we want to.   11. we have an 18hp kubota no loader but really usefull uncle made a set of pallet forks for the rear linkage which can be used to do anything from move logs with a pallet bow to carring hay for the livestock. it will also move and power our six inch pto chipper with ease. Had it four years and have had to replace the clutch which acording to the previous owner hadnt been done since new. but other than that a £0 maintenance bill Sent from my GT-I9100 using Arbtalk mobile app

  16. unless you doing tree work for forestry commision i see no point in been fisa approved and does that mean that if you are doing ARB work at FC sites such as there vistor centres lantra and nptc chainsaw tickets would be void for that job and is it only cs30/31 or does it include cs39 Sent from my GT-I9100 using Arbtalk mobile app
  17. i have heard the a number nptc accessors have been appling to fisa and have not been approved as fisa accessors due to a lack of harvesting experiance this is because they basically do arb work Sent from my GT-I9100 using Arbtalk mobile app
