  1. Depends if Jake videos another body in the woods
  2. Maybe you were feeling all friendly and talkative? 😉
  3. Why not just Google local training providers and ask them if they're interested in a training location. Regardless of the course I wouldn't want random people giving it a go, as you're the one ultimately that would get the stick from the forestry commission etc.
  4. FYI watching dodgy VHS porn is not studying a language! 😉.
  5. If you've been you might think differently 🙂. Once you gloss over the incessant playing of ABBA, you then realise your the ugly ducking but amongst a massive population of gorgeous ladies with less options 😉.
  6. Whilst we wait for Big J, we can probably say there might be a niche but he did move to Sweden so that might reflect on that.
  7. It's not vocabulary police, the Americans especially buy cordwood that's stacked and has very little air gaps. Whilst it's a nice measure of the timber if it's all straight and consistent. UK firewood isn't, some people just chuck it loose in a bag and they get next to nothing, others like me treat it like Tetris so it stands up and won't flop over. If it's very loose you're maths is going to be a little out in bag numbers for a start.
  8. Is that because it's 7 tooth on the drive but you need a 6 instead ?. Or is the nose setup for a different chain sizin
  9. All depends on if you're splitting and stacking them in the bags. Average I can fill 4/5 IBC cages on my own without feeling rushed.
  10. Haha, nothing would surprise me about those cunning Yorkshire men.
  11. There all omnivores, only real way is having a large shallow area with reeds or other plants that deter birds and the fish.
  12. Isn't nearly all rhubarb that's UK grown all done in the rhubarb triangle as it's called ?. Grown in the dark from what I remember too.
  13. Or just pick up the phone and call them. Emails get lost or ignored especially if they're from abroad, even those from a web contact will get filtered. When in doubt call, be nice and then you can send them the email while you're talking to them.
  14. I'm only guessing but maybe the aircraft version had removable barrels so the action is within the wing and then the barrel is screwed tight after. Plus I guess you can change them as they'll no doubt be worn out pretty quickly after a couple of missions.
  15. Off an aircraft ?. Just wondering why they went to the expense of stainless as I don't think even the navy did that.
  16. Those were my 1st thoughts but looks like 303 as they're British head stamps , plus that magazine seems flush to the receiver unlike an extended magazine.
  17. Rough terrain forklift will be 7k+. If it's dried barrow bags, takes two people to lift and your away, or as @AHPP has said sack truck providing your trailer has a rear ramp. If your doing that also make sure the sides are higher than the bags so it won't need strapping down as tightly.
  18. You'll need a rough terrain forklift, not cheap to be honest as you'll need something like a Ausa.
  19. I do mean this in the nicest way possible, it's a fine line between pushing your kids and forcing them. You want them to be challenged but not overloaded as it's this time in life which can define a love or hate of education and it's important to balance that with all the social stuff that also helps. Hopefully you understand my meaning.
  20. Why not speak to the history department, ask if they're up for after-school tuition which you're happy to pay extra. That way he gets best of both worlds and the school just puts him in for the exams and at minimal costs or damage to statistics. Also allows the teachers to review progress at the end of the 1st year and it can be either continued or quietly dropped as 11 subjects is a lot. Going external just adds complexity.
  21. @peds I'll just bite my thumb at you and hope the pool guy replenishes the chlorine in your gene pool.
  22. @peds you can try the subtle underhanded name calling all you wish. Whilst I'm no wonderkin, I've enough years of education, one below the wall art they call a degree and I even studied to be a teacher.
  23. Ah yes the venerable degrees from the university of online Gambia and that petrol station behind the old cinema.
  24. Isn't one Foreign language still compulsory, so he'll still be doing french/German or Spanish. That's why I was asking for more information, all we've got is half a story so far. Harrumphing they won't let the kid study two simultaneous subjects, do what most of us did and do the best you can and make up for it in college. That's what shows employers and universities initiative and drive to actually do something, instead of daddy paying for extra attention.
  25. Without dating Mick's conversation, must've been 2000 as his teacher would be in his 90s now. The point I was making was we need the full list of GCSEs being taken as 4 including two compulsory is a bit low.
