  1. Have a chat to @Rob D
  2. You're choice is Trump or Kamala. You can be as idealistic as you want, those are the choices. Biden is not clean in any of those areas either, is he?
  3. Where's that face slap meme, for when people post S like that?
  4. I'm not defending or extolling his virtue, whilst bad form to do it if he knew beforehand. I would equally blame the news outlet for having zero foresight, one on one interview I can understand but throwing a disabled reporter into a political bear pit if dumb. Jebus, even Peston after his stroke was kept away from those sorts of situations.
  5. Actually the plan, was a slow withdrawal, but Biden even went against military advice and just went meh about the timetable. No VIDE..O of that allegation tho.
  6. Why don't you actually show me the video of that and not hearsay. I can probably point you in the direction of the S show Biden left in Afghan. The leak that left a load of dead tier 1 that were on the Osama raid. But... But ... But.. Trump must be the bad man. I wonder using their mental gymnastics, if Bill Clinton not having sexual relations with that women. Makes him good or bad?.
  7. Think if you look closely you'll find they aren't as liberal as you believe them to be, if anything they are centrist & capitalist so neither ends of your spectrum of evil Vs good. When you've a population the size of London, a tax rate at 25% and receive dividends from every nation that's sold wind turbines to Vatternfall IE. government coffers. Yet you rabidly foam on about Trump, yet defend Biden. Biden was a rabid hater of the English, all that poetry he likes to recite. When trump gets in it'll be radio silence again, like the MSM and our new masters.
  8. I can't think of any successfully run countries with your wishy washy liberal bs liberal leanings. I can think of a few that went that way and swiftly turned to microwaved garbage.
  9. Plus aren't red shirts always the ones that met an unfortunate end with an alien encounter?.
  10. Klingons off the starboard bow ?
  11. And they all want you close to the big battery at the wall for good reason, not 50m away!.
  12. My god, this has turned into a Chicken Little. If you're so sure Kamala will win go put a week's wages on her at the bookies!.
  13. Having seen 40A three phase melt 6mm wiring, I'm usually cautious. Even seen a 13A plug melt when pushed to 14A under heavy load from a tiny 2.2kw motor. You're capacitor and switch failed due to the voltage drop of the old setup, as that switch will be a safety NVR (No Volt Relay). As a general rule, Aldi special splitting is fine. Anything bigger just go petrol or diesel.
  14. Main thing is he was happy, personally I wouldn't be as that's a lot of Amps. 17A is around 4Kw which is quite a lot especially if it's on a 13A plug and no doubt gets hot enough to not be able to touch the plug. 17A is into big boy blue 32A plug territory as they're rated for 6 hours use.
  15. It'll just be an electric motor with a hi/low pump, so it runs full speed all the time but will grunt harder under load. Probably just the same as the petrol setup.
  16. Me thinks the average triple mower is wider than your average garden. Hell I could do the full length of the parents with a 2m flail mower in passes, damn them and the flower beds!.
  17. Not sure if that was a dig, as I'm an electrical engineer with an three phase 80A test panel with amp meters, even a 1300w vac exceeds that on start. You shouldn't ideally be using any fused plugs, blue are for a fused feed/supply preferred type c/d slower trip time. A small cable to the splitter is fine as they're designed to be used near a suitable outlet, not at 50m as it's the starting amps you want to be worried about probably 75+ (4.5x). At 50m with voltage drop and high amps = more amps and burning cable when you factor in 15A x 4.5 at 220 Vs 240.
  18. Flail or large rotary, preferably livestock. Gang mowers are more for parks that are done regularly.
  19. Well here's the question peds, seeing I'm of the generation that grew up with all this modern stuff including Quake, Doom, Facebook and WhatsApp were later but we still has ICQ, MSN messenger etc. Why don't you explain the variable that's missed my generation and made recent kids so soft and mentally unstable then ?. Whilst you might scoff at my chiselled resilience from having been physical and verbal bullied, everyone else would have equally seen it and kept their heads down.
  20. Quite happy to admit I'm 42, I'll admit I had old school grandparents that also instilled that stuff upper lip. Everyone blames social media, but I'm the age where we were the guinea pigs of pretty much it all including video games so real you can taste it. The obsession with talking about your feelings in my blame on my mind. And maybe thicko vacuous pretty boys types on TV.
  21. Modern that was 30 years ago.
  22. I've had plenty of beatings during secondary, as did plenty of other from the same group of feral bullies one even put someone in the hospital with a metal lab stand from vague memory. Where did I say kids should be beaten?. Well......... As the saying goes two eyes, two ears one mouth
  23. Keep telling yourself that while you cry into you soya latte. As per you three, you seem to always go to the extreme, instead of actually reading the words written you Assume. DID i say anything about physical, well... NO I didn't did I.
  24. As usual you and Peds always have to go to the absolute extremes, where did I say extremes ?. Where did I advocate beating or beasting?. The answer for those that can't read, is I didn't you just automatically assumed it. As for the bs extreme scenario, I came out fine. Those that did the beating mostly ended up drunk, druggies or prison.
  25. Better than teaching them that the world ending and on fire, like you would!. You've obviously never worked in a workshop or large low paid organisation prior to 2008, no bullying but plenty of taking the P**s.
