  1. They were mike's previous attempts to hit the barn door, sussh 🙂.
  2. Is this mythical £45 down the local B&Q ?. As I'd love to know who's paying that for arb chip, partly so I could become a millionaire Rodney.
  3. Haha, I know the getting old feeling!. I'd probably go pixel, never really liked the Samsung phones as the OS is a bit modified and feels a bit clunky compared to the standard android OS.
  4. Pixel 8a if it was me, I like a phone you can actually put in your pocket without it feeling like a laptop. Plus SIM only every day of the week, okay you take the hit but £16 a month or whatever the ridiculous EE plan is 🙂
  5. Becoming, long ago. They'll be sending summons for your turn as the village bike.
  6. Endlessly discussing it isn't going to get things anywhere. Personally it's their dime, let them have at it. Yeah, they might be morons, but they have the money to obviously be utter morons. Otherwise, you can call their bluff but is it worth the risk of legal expense, let them do it and you can sit smugly when it continues to go south. Just to put it into perspective. I went to war with my neighbour over where he put his bins out - now I'm bankrupt with a £1million legal bill | Daily Mail Online WWW.DAILYMAIL.CO.UK Geoff Carter, 77, first went to war with his farmer neighbour Trevor Goldsworthy over the weekly bin collections in rural west...
  7. So are you just pointing out reading is already a smoke control area ?
  8. So you're trees are damaging the swimming pool I presume ?. Well you could argue they can remove all trees at their expense and put up a maximum legal height fence to ensure privacy. However this is more a council planning department issue as there are rules regarding extensions etc overlooking neighbours. Wasn't a celebrity told off for something similar recently with a hot tub or similar.

Erm, I did use the word briefly 😉. At 18 I barely had a clue, at 25 I had more of a clue at 42. Whilst I'm not rich, I've always treated work as a way to progress educationally and financially. No jobs for life, do what she can for a couple of years and always look at the next step. Granted like all jobs, if you have family in the trades it's a step up. Tree guys usually with plumbers and sparkles.

The actual question she should be asking is how much will they take home during an apprenticeship and how that increases. Back in the old days, a 2/3rd job wasn't unusual. I briefly did an awful apprenticeship in IT for a couple of years, something slave like at £80 a week with retail work paying that in a day!.
  12. Says the turncoat that doesn't believe in voting.
  13. Jebus christ Mick, I vote in my elections. Ergo I have a right to criticise, you DON'T vote ergo no right.
  14. How is that inventing basic parameters. Just paying taxes entitles you to the benefits of that country and it's protection, non Dom's pay tax but can't vote as far as I'm aware. Actually casting a vote entitles you the right to criticise, that's the simple thing. People fought and died for that right, so use it or hold your peace until you do.
  15. Seeing that I don't live in the USA no, but I did in all of those that are in the country I live in. So instead of being all dismissive and quiet, why not say when the last time you voted. UK election? UK local election? Or as your in France did you atleast do you local or national?. Atleast one or more of the above is a minimum!.
  16. And democracy means if enough people want something it can... Drum roll please... CHANGE.
  17. And what you trying to prove, I actually said advocate for change!. Ergo, signed the petition. Still not saying if you voted are you!.
  18. They described Johnson as a blue watermelon. Blue conservative paint over a green eco mental skin and a red labour inside.
  19. True, but at the same time I always vote in any election where I can so that gives me the right to complain. That's local and national, if Mick hasn't done either then I'm sorry but like taxes, it's the price of living in a civilised society.
  20. So describe the actions of a government that wants to squeeze the blood out of every stone and piece of gravel in a way that doesn't involve said image. Other than you shall have nothing and be happy!. And for the audience did you vote in this last election?
  21. Oh yes the multi millionaire Stewart Lee and his almost irrelevant comedy that's barely evolved since his MMU student days. He probably knocked one off thinking about Kier as he wrote his "hit" piece about Clarkson.
  22. Have I said that no, so you just want everyone to shut up and be good little boys whilst uncle Rolf & Jimmy have their wicked way ?. So, instead of just poo pooing. What would YOU do, other than grab the KY ?.
  23. Maybe take your head out of a plant pot and actually look at what it's going to do to ALL sectors of the economy. Unless you're safely sitting on your guilded public sector perch lording about thinking of the lovely pension when you retire early ?. Or is just because you're not here so couldn't give two shiny poos?.
