  1. Another good place is Dicks Climbing in Bristol, his website is useless to be fair but the guy has a great respect in Bristol supplying rope acces equipment, rock/ice climbing, and srt equipment, he can pretty much get everything and anything climbing wise and always willmdo a good deal..... Just say Anthony sent you over and he can get some awesome prices up together....
  2. Stupid question...but why a waterproof chainsaw jacket/trousers, why not just over trousers and a normal waterproof jacket like a millet (not millets) or a mountain hardware etc climbing jacket, or a paramo smock?

The Elvis thing is just a caught nerve, if you move the postion of your foot everything will be cool.... Climbing rock/ice/trees i am guessing is all similar, its a mind set....trust in yourself, your equipmet and your capabilities....if something goes wrong, well 9/10 times it will be too late to do anything about it just buckle up for the ride or look for a soft bush.... I have had some fantastic episodes, but the only one which hurt was a 4 foot fall through some scaffold.... Respect her, as she will kill us all...just take advantage of her resources whilst you can...mother nature never stops ;-)
  4. I would phone someone like go ape or similiar...
  5. Be careful with the remaps though, the best place is Diesel performance tuning and economy remap chip tuning for Landrover Defender Discovery TD5 Puma TDV6 TDV8 , there are others around but this is the only one i would personally use, and we race/compete in them..... Also another mod people do is turning up the fuel pump, which will make it go faster, but you will be kicking out some serious black smoke.... My opinion if you ant something quicker, but a hilux etc, defenders are a lifestyle and should be allowed to struggle, gasp, and judder...its a land rover thing
  6. Dang thats a good point.....

Yates SCREAMERS Would not set another ice screw without using one, stop ice fractures on falls, and a noticable retard on shock. Thanks Anthony Ps like i said, this is personal experrience of ICE climbing, not arb work.
