  1. Hi all, think the old beaners need a clean up, thinking of soaking in soapy water, do you have the gates wedged open or just close it all up ? Cheers
  2. Spike it, knock it down to the lowest pollard points pal. If that low is a no go, nice sharp spikes and the (visible) damage should be minimal Sent from my SM-A300FU using Arbtalk mobile app
  3. Sometimes it's best to do as they say. WITHIN REASON. Quick wash and go imo as a gesture of good will, never put a cover on a car as that may cause problems with alleged "damage" etc. Shame that this world has become such a place with a need for constant arse covering. We have had it in the past, we were working contracting in Manchester, cones put out the night before so we could crown lift a large beech, one tosser with an a6 and the park and ride.... Sawdust, alleged damage. Chips away quotes etc etc Sent from my SM-A300FU using Arbtalk mobile app
  4. I've loved the hitch climber, great for branch walk returns - tending one handed etc. Paired with an eye to eye on my bridge for long ascents. It just keeps locking up. I know it's the hitch, but I've tried messing around with knots etc but I found too much sit back on certain hitches as I use an 85cm cord. Plus I wanted to get a swivel soon so may get the zigzag after working a Saturday later in the month! Had a quick look at the setup in buxtons the other morning. I don't believe you can get cord to be as smooth due to the natural friction. Any probs with the mk3 cropped up yet? Sent from my SM-A300FU using Arbtalk mobile app
  5. Hi all I currently use a hitchclimber. 11.5 sterling scion with 8mm cord tied into distel. It is good but it's being a pain alot locking up and I have to readjust the wraps. I'm thinking of a zigzag. What you think? Sent from my SM-A300FU using Arbtalk mobile app
  6. Br600 magnum. Absolute beast Sent from my SM-A300FU using Arbtalk mobile app
  7. Not mine at all, just putting it out there. Incredible Sent from my SM-A300FU using Arbtalk mobile app
  8. Yeah the same tree. Stumped abit [emoji53] Sent from my SM-A300FU using Arbtalk mobile app
  9. Could anyone ID this please. Thanks Sent from my SM-A300FU using Arbtalk mobile app
  10. Pay a climber to shoot up and get it, that rope alone will cost at least 70 quid. Don't be daft trying to climb, oaks are a bastard to climb too imo, limbs far apart etc. You can't put money on safety. Sent from my SM-A300FU using Arbtalk mobile app
  11. Oak dismantle from the other day. Sent from my SM-A300FU using Arbtalk mobile app
  12. Thanks that great. That's exactly what's happening. When I bring the visor down it doesn't go all the way, when I push it down full it moves the muff. Kind of annoying. Cheers Sent from my SM-A300FU using Arbtalk mobile app
  13. Hi all, I have a petzl vertex with the vizir fitted but when I put the visor fully down it breaks the seal on my right ear muff and let's all the noise in 😤 is there an adapter or spacer I need to buy? Thanks Sent from my SM-A300FU using Arbtalk mobile app
  14. Great British media- out to ruin everyone Sent from my SM-A300FU using Arbtalk mobile app
  15. I'm about 5,9 and I've got innovations. M and the fit is perfect. I've had them since Nov last year and the crotch has only just started to go. A hole about an inch diameter under the zip area. Apart from the left hand zip lasting a week, the odd spike wound at the bottom and a exhaust burn they are great. Sent from my SM-A300FU using Arbtalk mobile app
