  1. Looks decent enough. Chain brake works. Don't see any more risk tbh. Its a cheap chainsaw. Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk 2
  2. Lets see how long it lasts! Got some clearing to do from high winds last year and a fair bit of cutting so will see how long before I break it. Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk 2
  3. I paid £65 for my gs5200 Chinese saw that looks identical. Works just fine but its no husky! Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk 2
  4. How long is a recharge ? If it takes 3hrs then you will need more than 2 batteries. typical lifespan of a high drain battery is poor. I'd not rush out to get one that's for sure. Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk 2
  5. Was leased van so not my problem, just one for insurance company. would be insane with egr and dpf removed. Was already 190bhp and doing 16mpg! Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk 2
  6. On my sprinter 4x4 it was the dpf filter that kept getting nicked. £800 second hand to replace! Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk 2
  7. Time will tell how good it is. Got a lot of work in next few weeks. I'm under no illusions its a Chinese saw. Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk 2
  8. I'm not fussed what it is as long as it cuts wood and I can get spares. ! Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk 2
  9. There will be a way leave for the line going through the property. Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk 2
  10. Sorry efco 152. http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B004JMZXH0 My saw: Will take better pictures later. Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk 2
  11. Here is my gs2500 Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk 2
  12. Everything is made in the east now!
  13. When I worked on the power lines I had a decent stihl saw and a husky tophandle. had to give them back when I left to go work on wind turbines! I have been doing odd jobs and a bit of ad hock work to help out local friend. I got my self two saws to keep me in the game. Greencut GS2500. Same as AMA top handle saw and parts interchangeable. Greencut GS5200. Same as efco 150 and again same parts. Now this got me wondering are all these saws just made in china and re badged? I have given them a power of abuse and they are holding up great. Both cost £90 each from ebay. What's your thoughts ?
  14. I remember there was a big storm and we had power lines down. Bt came along and put the phone line over the top of our lines which were on the ground ready to be pulled back up. Snip snip snip went the wire cutters and the hv line was back up and we were gone before Bt were back! Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk 2
  15. I was a linesman for a power company and we used to drop power lines and have shut downs for tree cutting. We did our own cutting mostly but then it all was sub contracted out. Hit a power line and your bank balance will feel it! Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk 2
  16. You should try SCAPA its from Orkney and totally different to highland park. More like a highland/speyside malt. Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk 2
