  1. Hi Jon. I've got a 20" sugihara light on the 461 chap Jon
  2. After the issues with the 201 I was a bit dubious about new saws from stihl and looking at what husky had to offer. I've recently bought a 461 and picked up a 201 today. I'm very happy with both saws and are both perform exceptionally well!! I'd slated the 201 for a long time until using a later model this year and the saw is completely different and I'm really impressed with it! Jon
  3. Petzl sequoia - great harness and all you need. You don't need anything fancy! I still use mine and it's a good price! Any 13mm rope really, I use New England hi vee. Jon
  4. Alright chaps. Does anyone know of someone that ports saws in the south east? Got a 200 i fancy getting ported and a good service.
  5. Me, my old man and a few mates are lesdyxic! Never stopped any of us doing what we wanted, in my own experience my dyslexia seems to only stop me learning things I have no interest in at all or anything to do with numbers! Things I have an interesest in or passionate about I excel and learn fast!
  6. Nightmare!! Thanks chap, think I'll have to drop it back into the shop, not something I think I can tackle Jon
  7. Hi all. 200 was playing up few weeks ago, had a diaphragm kit and fuel pick up body. Worked great for 2 days then the next idle was all over, wouldn't pick up and lost power when cutting. Next day fine.. Happens when saw is cold and hot. Any ideas chaps? Fuel lines? Jon

    New 66

Going to hold off and wait for the 661 to be released, the looks are amazing and the spec is good! Going to buy a 461 in the meantime. The new style and design of the new stihls are very nice!!
  12. Hi chaps. What do you guys do to clean the crud out of your carabiners? Got some twist lock crabs that no longer shut properly. Don't fancy retiring them as they're not cheap Thanks, J

    New 66

By the look of the 66 spec it doesn't have the m-tronic or low emissions, so hopefully they've focused that into the 661 Thanks, J

Hi Jon, All the new saws have low emissions now don't they? Was wondering how it compared to a 66 without and do the new ones have twist caps? Thanks, J

    New 66

Hi all, Has anyone used a 2013/14 660? Does it have the screw caps for filling or the twist type? Does it differ in performance to the old 66's before the new saws came out with the low emissions? Hope you're all keeping busy, more bad weather on the way apparently! Thanks, J
  17. Thanks for your input chaps! Will have to find someone with a newer saw and have a go on one before I buy one! Hopefully the 201 was the only shocker they produce
  18. I haven't got a 201 but do use one sometimes and it's rubbish compared to the 200! Im looking at getting a 441 but a bit dubious after the 201s performance.
  19. Are they all gutless and useless like the 201? Would it be better to buy a new 442 or find an older one Cheers, J
  20. Nice! Any problems with pick up at all? Or is it a peach straight out of the shop
  21. Hi all. Deciding wether to buy a new 2013 441 and a hs85 hedger but not sure if they're going to be horrific like the 201? Hoping it is just the 201 that's plagued!! J
