I have been unable to find steady work with a regular income as most places want you to have insurance and car licence so looking into both and what it will cost. thank you.

  7. Done a job at brixham today and seen this little gem think it's a stick insect but not to sure as not seen one in years. If picture is not clear not my fault as only had phone to take picture. Centre of pic.
  8. I have a question why the hell take drugs in the first place what good does it do, I can't see the point myself when someone takes drug they are no good just my opinion tho.
  9. I may not be employed or know many of you on here but i have see what drugs and alcohol can do to people and the family's. In this line of work you have to think about what you are doing and the people around you because if you are not thinking clearly it could be extremely dangerous and even costly. You did right in my book and many others will fell the same way. Andy Collins is 100% right and i agree with him.
  10. It depends on the jobs you do but i find grip gloves do the jobs i do and they are cheap i pay about 2 quid for a pair. You can get them at most hardware stores. Unless i am using my chainsaw.
  11. Thank you i do my best with the materials i have to hand.
  12. Thank you AlvinD may be a long journey but a worth while one.
  13. The finished hedge neighbour are both happy and one of them works for hi line, More hedge to do later on and four trees to cut down as well.
  14. I have nptc cs30 cs31 already but thanks for the tips.
  15. This is the hedge i have been laying, there is a before, a half way, and there will be a finish pic of it tomorrow.
  16. Plus my driving test is the priority for me and then see what happens, may just stay on the ground and let someone else climb up the tree. I have some pics to put up of the hedge i have just layed.
  17. As the saying goes one step at a time, don't run before you can walk.
  18. Well the job at south brent seems to be a flop but brixham is still on, That's something a start as they say. Still looking for more work and more experience in the world of arb, would have liked to found somewhere and someone who could teach me more on the climbing and maybe give me some private practice but that is a long shot.
  19. Thank's desertrat when i have the pics i will post the up. Thank's again.
  20. Thank's jon i will maybe take some pics and put on here so you can see. When i work out how to mate.

  23. It's only looking at them might not be able to do them but will do my best plus i have a hedge to trim up in Torquay as well. Keep going like this and i should be able to take my car test.
  24. That is first on my list and not from any college been doing this kind of work on and off for years just the work is further afield now. Thanks desertrat and andy collins and the others with up lifting comments.
  25. I could do with some more of this good luck someone else can have the bad luck and i won't charge them for taking it. I like the good luck but as they say nothing lasts forever but nice while it does. I am also looking into taking my climbing ticket after my car test just as i think i will need it in the future. I may not be the best looking guy around but i know my work and that's out doors with trees.
