  1. The ms 170 with 12" bar was got for hedging and the 450e was a felling saw i have got 15" bar on it and was wondering what you guy's think about them as i haven't seen anyone else using 450e and not many using ms170

  3. The guy next door to me but he is the one who told me without a driving licence i probably won't get a job there as unable to drive. I am in a catch 22 as no licence no work and no work no licence, That is the reason for finding something with accommodation cuts down on over heads and that way easier to save what would normally go for bills.
  4. Thank's jon Just gets me down with nothing to do and no income just wish i had something to do with timber logging or felling.
  5. I think i need lots of luck or something any way had no luck so far but bad luck.
  6. I will consider logging firewood as well as i enjoy doing logs (cutting and splitting) as long as i am working with wood.
  7. Funny you sould say that i was thinking the same thing just wish i could find someone who owns his or her's own woodland (or forest) that i could put a caravan and work to keep the bills down.
  8. Carpenter1 to get a licence you need money and i haven't got any for that, that is why i am trying to get a job and get some money to get a licence.
  9. Just so you know i have a hi line worker living next door to me and he told me that if i had a car licence he could get me a job with the but they don't want to know if no car licence.

  14. In my area there is 6 in a 5 mile radius that i know of it would be 7 but am out of the trade for now not to sure about further than this as don't see much out side of walking distance of my village.
  15. To all of you that have seen my other threads that have been a let down and a waste of you time i feel it is only right to apologise for this as it let you down as well as me. I am a a hard worker and i try to make a honest living but mistakes was made and very poor communications between me and the guy i was having the produce from in the future i think i will get it in wrighting as proof. You have my sincere apologises for this error. Thank you.
  16. HI all, Is there any work available for a chainsaw operator in devon possibly with accommodation. I am a hard working bloke with own chainsaw but no transport as not got driving licence for cars but do have full tractor licence. I like to work more than play or got to pubs i do like the odd drink but not often. If anyone can help it would be appreciated i have a number of certificates please ask me about then. My chainsaw certificate is cs30 and cs31, I will cut logs fell trees and general chainsaw work would like full time but will consider part time. I must state that i need accommodation if not transport is available.
  17. I was told once that everyone deserves a second chance in live i a can't seem to get that. Everyone makes mistakes i put my trust it the wrong guy so i was wrong. Nobody is perfect, when a guy is down i help him up some would kick him like they are doing to me. ( life is like a bed of roses just mind out for the p***ks.
  18. what i will do is make sure i own the wood to start with and do every thing myself and not rely on anyone but myself it sounds more like the right way am i right to think this?
  19. That was not my fault the guy says one thing to me one day and something different a week later if he was to stick to his word the i would still have wood to sell. But you still have my apologies for any problems caused through this. Thank you anyway.
  20. that's not what i was saying after i called him this morning and found out what he was planing to do.
  21. when i was made redundant by him he said to me i could have the firewood as long as he got a cut out of what i made (one third) which we both agreed on now he want to have some local boys have it at what ever they will give for it

I am unemployed (made redundent) and can't find any work local to me (chagford devon) i am a chainsaw operator (cs-30 and cs-31) is there any work out there in woodland forestry for someone like me.I am hoping that there is someone on here who knows of some or has some work to do. Would consider living in a caravan as done it before and will do it again if needed. Can anyone help me out here?
