i have a skylotec kolibri 2D harness i dont have a reciept for it but the LOLER tester i spoke to says i need it even though these harnesses have the year of origin on the bridge? can anybody shed some light on this as nobody at my college can help?! cheers!

i just bought a lanyard off honey bros (tachyon one eye splice) i ordered 3m and i was sent 5m can i just cut it down to length that i wanted or is there a special procedure to conform with LOLER etc?
