  15. as in another thread i have been looking for an old saw and decided upon a few different old huskys or a 044 /046 the huskys are pretty straight forward with the price but stills are extremely varied in price.. what should i be looking to pay for a 044/ 046? spares or running
  16. It sold and the feedback is suspiciously good...
  17. Thanks for all your help guys.. I was also interested in an 046 magnum but I seem to be quite hard pressed to find one? Is there a reason for this?
  18. I hadn't actually thought of that.. But more often than not a lot of parts are out in America on eBay I'll just have to bite the bullet known as massive postage payments
  19. Thanks for all the help il see what I can find out of those.. I already have a 254 with an 18" on it few mates laughed at that saw but she out performs the new saws that they own!
  20. 394 looks good I didn't even know that was a model! I wouldn't mind going a little bit earlier than that? But not too far back.. It's only for big stumps and for a bit of doing up really!
  21. I'm looking on expanding my saw collection and want an old husky capable of taking a fair size bar (preferably over 20") but can't really afford the new stuff! Does anyone recommend any old models in particular? Thanks
  22. Does any know where I can obtain one of the arbpro helmets preferably I'm black? Does anyone know if they do a smoked visor for it? Thanks!
  23. Is that just drilling out two more holes and welding those pipes on?
  24. Relatively new to all this as you may have read other posts from mine I've only just started playing about with saws as I've started buying my own so the boss won't kill me! I keep hearing about exhaust mods but can't find pictures or how to do it?? I have tried searching but the search facility on the arbtalk app leaves a bit to be desired.... Either that or I'm terrible using it! But thanks anyway!
  25. Thanks! I have that bar on my old 254 unfortunately I've never used the saw! I'll get it going and see what it's like. Cheers again
