1. Thank you that was so helpful, what do you think I have been doing before I created this thread?
2. Anyone know a dealer in the UK that sells a Silky SUGOWAZA 420 (XL teeth) please? I can't find it anywhere.
3. Haix Protector Extreme for me.
4. I picked up a Petzl Vertex Vent Headset 31dB SNR the other day. I love the adjustment wheels either side they make for a snug fit.
5. Come on people there must be some cat lovers in here.
6. Sorry for asking for the companies name I didn't want to cause any trouble, just wanted to avoid any headaches as I'm gradually getting all my gear bit by bit for college in September.
7. I'm of the attitude of I would rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it, so type C's all the way for me. Anyway modern type C's are more flexible and cooler in the heat are they not? Seeing the damage caused to flesh via a chainsaw is more than enough to warrant some discomfort for me anyway.
8. Any chance you could name the company you are having problems with please swinny?
9. My two Bengals Milo (brown spotted) and Pip (snow spotted), brothers.
10. Can't stand the colour of them to be honest . Someone must have tried these STIHL Advance GTX boots around here? They sound like the bees knees on paper.
11. I have looked at the Pfanner Zermatt GTX, but the Stihl boots offer more protection and more for your money. Taken from Honey Brothers. With breathable GORE-TEX™ membrane Additional water and wear protection provided by high-rise rubber edge. Highly absorbent, removable inner sole. 12. I would love to hear some feed back on these STIHL Advance GTX Chainsaw Boots as well? They sound and look like just what I'm after.
13. Cheers, same thing just different coloured packet.
14. This one? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CELOX-Gauze-Pad-Fabric-Dressing-Stop-Bleeding-Haemostatic-First-Aid-Bandage-/400308806578?pt=UK_Health_Beauty_First_Aid_ET&hash=item5d3443a3b2
15. I know what you're saying I just feel a lot more confidant in a product thats used by military paramedics etc.
16. I'll pick one of these up then, the two combined should do the job. CELOX Z-Fold Haemostatic Gauze - new slim pack weighing only 34g! | eBay
17. This is what I bought. 6? Emergency Trauma Dressing (ETD), Israeli bandage,FirstCare,First Respondedr, | eBay
18. "The ETD is essentially an ACE bandage, a tourniquet and a trauma dressing all wrapped into one. They've taken elements from the C.A.T. tourniquet, the typical sports (ACE) bandage and the traditional camouflage combat dressing and rolled them into one more efficient, more compact package. The Israeli bandage has a built in tension bar that applies continuous pressure to the wound, allowing the bandage to act as a stand-alone field dressing, sling, pressure dressing and mild tourniquet. It is ideal for head wounds, because it can be wrapped very easily. Directions on how to use the bandage are printed on the back of the package."
19. Will the 6” Emergency Trauma Dressing (ETD) not do the job desertrat0201?
20. I could probably squeeze some eye wash solution in there at a push.
21. 6” Emergency Trauma Dressing (ETD) Decent water proof plasters Antiseptic wipes Salbutamol inhaler (I'm asthmatic) Medium sized first aid kit bag in red
22. I'm about a 44 inch waist those Stretch Airs weren't going round my pins lol. I don't start college until September but I will update this thread when I give them a good beasting.
