  1. Please can anyone recommend someone for training and assessment in the West Sussex area for a CS38? Thought I had a good deal with my College turns out they want a lot more than I thought they did.
  2. Thanks for the replies guys. I got my CS30 and CS38 including training and my assessments for £350.
  3. Can someone tell me how much they paid individually or what kind of deal they got please?
  4. I use Gill Pro fingerless Sailing gloves, they are absolutely brilliant for grip in the wet or dry.
  5. Hello all just wanted other peoples opinions please on whether or not this deal is any good as I have no idea. I've been offered CS31 and CS39 with training and the assessments for a combined price of £740, is this a good deal? Thanks.
  6. Agreed, I was looking forward to getting those items as I love new gear to play with and set up.
  7. I'm not knocking that brand of climbing equipment, I was just expressing what I was looking to buy previously before my new fear of mechanical climbing devices took effect.
  8. This has genuinely spooked me and knocked my confidence in buying anything mechanical now. I was dangerously close to buying a couple of ART Positioner 2 w/Swivel and a ART Spiderjack 2.1 'Dyneema' the other week, now I'll just stick to prusiks on my main line and lanyard, wire core flip line.
  9. Cheers guys I started to get worried there lots of views but no replys. So ultimately I won't need to disassemble the whole thing? Just worried about small springs and mechanisms flying everywhere.
  10. Really no one is running an ART Positioner 2 w/Swivel on a wire core flip line:confused1:
  11. I've been climbing in HAIX Protector Xtreme's for a while now and they're very comfortable and grippy. Others will probably find them a little on the heavy side though. Obviously a lot dirtier now.
  12. Hello I was hoping someone could tell me how hard it would be to attach the following HB Wire Core Swivel Flip Line 3m and ART Positioner 2 w/Swivel together please? Is there simple instructions to follow?
  13. Lovely set up Matthew Just curious how come you have two set ups? I thought tree surgeons only needed a wire core flip line.
  14. I understand it a lot better now, thanks for the quick replys guys. Two-stroke oil - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
  15. Please could you explain further to why a precise measure of 50:1 petrol to two stroke oil is neccesary then please? I have searched but ended up very confused hence why I posted here.
  16. Am I right in thinking to rich means to much petrol and not enough two stroke oil and to lean means to much two stroke oil and not enough petrol? I'm finding this quite confusing please can someone explain this to me as I'm new to the mechanical side of things.
  17. Gill pro sailing gloves are brilliant for climbing in! Absolutely loads of grip without the rope burns or blisters.
  18. Well I've done a fair bit of climbing in these now and I am pleased to say they're brilliant! The 3XDRY material really works. When its cold my legs are kept warm and if they start to get clammy and sweaty the trousers soon sort that out leaving your legs cool and dry!
  19. Honey Brothers got back to me via email and they're getting them in.
  20. Its the guard I like I try to be safety conscious.
  21. Thanks for the reply guys I have also contacted Silky to see if they'll ship it to me. I have also emailed Honey Brothers in the hope they could order it in for me as well.
