  1. Temporary hijack ... Briquette_seller: How cost effective are briquettes v logs, to purchase, to burn?
  2. Don't for gods sake say you're agnostic, or they'll come back again and again to save you! Don't talk evolution in the Darwinian sense or again they think you're a nutter and need saving.
  3. Can't see from the pics whether there is mid span support under the lateral load bearing planks. Are you confident it won't bow and put stress on the rest of the structure. What about cross bracing, will it resist torsion, or a sideways load such as wind for instance? What have you done roof wise to keep the watery stuff out? But have to say it looks good.
  4. What class of liner required? - 316SS isn't appropriate, I've been told, and most installations for log burning are 316, mine is.
  5. I know, I saw it right away too... No safety glasses or hearing protection!!!
  6. Yes, your right. Worth doing.
  7. What would be your gut reaction (forgive the pun!), must say I'd probably have thought about pulling it out. Obviously I know better now. But be honest, what would you have done as first aid in a similar situation?
  8. Where about are you, I'd have some of that! (Just for personal use, not for resale)
  9. What won't be on one's bench tomorrow: a Stihl of any description!
  10. I thought it was the X Factor guy who won the contest in 2012 and never heard if since, lol
  11. Have you thought of a good second hand Leica by chance, optics are top notch. I like the range finder look. Fuji do an excellent pro looking range finder very similar to the red dot.
  12. I'm going to be using in anger soon, but just taking trial photos I'm very happy with the outcome. I bought the body separate and a f1.4 25mm Leica/Panasonic prime. I'll let you know when I've processed the results.
  13. I've just bought an Olympus OMD E5, it's a mirror less micro four thirds, so lighter in weight which is great for travel. Crop of 2 but great performance, lots of lenses available too.
