  1. At Chaffin Works,based at Polegate, near Eastbourne we are looking for experienced team leaders to lead our teams working on the motorway networks across the south east, including the M25. Contracts include ADB removal with MEWP, Merlo and 14t shear teams, routine maintenance to verges, individual surveyed haz trees, as well as a variety of contracts with major infrastructure companies and district councils. We are also looking for operatives with experience in the industry who have CS 30/31, chipper. CSCS ideally and experience working in traffic management but not essential. We offer excellent rates of pay with days and night shifts. All PPE is supplied along with training to further your career with us, plus holiday pay. Please reply or PM me for more details

  4. Had a look at this oak today.The customer already told me that he had sent a sample of the bracket off to the RHS and they had informed him that it was Inonotus dryadeus. Firstly I noted the Merpilus present as well, but I really don't believe that the other brackets are dryadeus ?? W

  10. I never said anything was a bad idea. Purely trying to get a history of any construction around the tree. Dont you think that would be useful to know ?
  11. To me it looks like the levels around the tree have been raised, when was that paving done ?
  12. Judging by the host and the location on the tree I would say a desicated L. sulphurous. Chicken of the woods:thumbup1:
