  1. I personally don't understand why they are doing something about it now, why is 2012 the year to change things? It should have all stopped back in the 80's!!

    Jazz Guitar

Yes I agree, but as I have a very poor singing voice I try to replicate the song But as for jazz, no two guitarist are alike, which I love!
  3. What do the rope wrench / kong robot do exactly, and how would they benefit your climbing? Thanks!!

    Jazz Guitar

Graham, I must say Blind Blake is amazing! I've heard him before, but never even had the motivation to try to play his stuff because its so immense, as I'm used to playing in a jazz style. Might give it a go! Andrew, Newton Faulkner is amazing! I love his sons go much, although when it comes to playing his stuff, I find that it is quite hard to make it sound correct and in time. My next investment has got to be a good old telecaster guitar! The sound they produce for jazz is amazing! Cheers!

    Jokes???

Romantic films are known to ruin relationships as they give women unrealistic expectations about what to expect from men. Porn has the same effect on men.

    Jazz Guitar

Hey guys, I'm really intrested in jazz guitar, and also acoustic guitar in general. Was just wondering if anyone else on the forum likes to play jazz. Who are your main inspirations? What are your favourite pieces to play? Cheers!!

  13. I recommend you get a professional tree consultant in to do a decay detection survey. Have you seen any signs of fungal attack?

    Jokes???

"Can you tie a knot?" "I cannot." "So you can knot?" "No, I cannot knot." "Not knot?" "Who's there?" "off!"
  15. I'm really into Bon Iver at the moment, his music is one of a kind. So relaxing and chilled.
  16. I climb on a VT with a hitch climber pulley. I was considering a Skywalker, but I figured the extra hole in the hitchclimber could come in handy, as I now use a strop or secondry anchor connecting to it. Its very practicle as both of your lines are joining at one place, the pulley. Which making maneuverability a damn sight easier.
  17. Really good knot, use it every day. You have to be carefull when tieing it though... when you do the initial stages, where you feed 2 loops through the carabiner, they need to be looped going AWAY from the spine of the carabiner. This makes the weight load down the spine, not down the gate. Therefore providing a stronger linkage.
  18. it is important that when doing the 2 loops through the carabiner, they wrap in the opposite direction to the spine. This loads the weight into the spine, not into the gate.
  19. Interesting find! Thanks for sharing!
  20. I agree with Ben above, the sirius chord by teufelberger is quite soft though I find, so I wouldn't use it on a soft rope like Imori. I think Ocean Polyester would be the best bet.
  21. Awesome swing! Would do anything to have a go!
