  2. I recently had a cut from a silky, but its quite gory. So does anyone know how to hide a picture in a thread, but make its viewable with just a click? Cheers!
  3. Yes, I did have coconut in mind, but couldn't think of where it would have come from. The local fair is normally quite a way away from this woodland, can't imagine how it got here!

  6. Found in a deciduous shelter belt woodland, the trees being Oak, Horse Chestnut, Beech, and the occasional Ash and Hornbeam. It's definitely a woody substance, I've never seen anything like this in England. Cheers!!

Was up a large Horse Chestnut today and came across this, any ideas as to what it is? Cheers
  11. I wouldn't say metasequoia due to the branch structure on the last picture. what are the leaves like?
  12. If not any of the above, my guess would be sophora japonica.
  13. Cheers for all the responses guys, much appreciated.
  14. cheers silky fox!!
  15. Hey There, I'm looking for a small-ish gear bag to wear on my back, that will hold a harness and rope (45m). I would preferably like one with stiff sides to allow the rope to be fed in easier. Are there any suggestions? Thanks!
  16. I would be interested in working in the London area, I can be based at Whetstone area. Have you still got any work available?
  17. Either Work at Height act, or LOLER, states that the minimum diameter of 'climbing' rope is 10mm. Sp personally I wouldn't work with it!
  18. Cheers! No not really, there wasn't much weight to it so the hinge stayed in tact as the sink cut closed.
  19. Just started using top handles in college, what d oyou think of this? Was on a rather dead Sycamore.

Yeah, at the club I go to the etiquette is very strict! And yes I need to be a bit more carefull with the partnering, because I've had painfull problems with my elbow ever since someone overly bent it! Cheer! Good to see someone with similar interests!

    Ju Jitsu

Recently joined a Ju Jitsu club in my local town. Just wondered if anyone else is interested in it and learning it. Would be appreciated if any reliable informational sources, books/DVDs, that people know of and would recommend could be listed here. Cheers!!
  23. Thanks very much guys! The help is much appreciated!
  24. Cheers Sloth and Rupe, + Rupe, I will gladly do that for you. The client ideally wants them to come down enough to let more light in, and enough left for privacy. So they suggested taking them down to about 10ft from ground level. Would that be too much to take out, as it doesn't leave much stored energy within the tree? Thanks again
  25. Hey all, I'm relatively new in the industry, and I have a job to do on a Leyland Cypress. We want to take the tops out of a Leyland hedge, they are aprox. 30ft tall. I was wondering what the maximum amount of the top I could take out, so they would still carry on growing normally without stress. Cheers!
