1. Yes, I've contacted aviva regarding this and they said it'll be a similar price. They said that the insurance group it is classed in is lower than my mazda is in.
2. I'm not going for the VW anymore Jon, as I've decided it's too much out of my price range and I'd rather not be on finance. I also think there too much of a Chelsea tractor/a school run/ hairdressers car. It wouldn't be suitable for the job or for green laning
3. Don't ask me how they come up with their prices... That also includes full RAC break down, courtesy cover, windscreen cover, legal cover etc etc.
4. That's the same with me, for a 1.2 Renault Clio... Mad!
5. Yes, that's fully comp, own policy and me as the legal car owner. It's all legit... I don't see the point in cutting corners for the sake of a couple of hundred pound!
6. That's for my 2.5 L Mazda B2500 double cab
7. At the moment I pay £1504.10 with aviva on a provisional, it'll be going up to £1800 amd something when I pass. Both with aviva They are one of the better ones for learner and new drivers So I've been told!
8. I understand you can be concerned! I'm 18 and my test is on the 27th. I've discussed with the company and they are happy for me to test drive it in Febuary. Also I will be doing my trailer test once I have passed, as I will be in the right frame of mind without any bad habits. I am not going to be able to afford to buy a 30k truck out right, but have looked into finance options. (Although the truck I am interested in is £15,000 and from savings and a small family loan I will be able to afford it). as you are probably thinking it is, I can assure you nothing at all is dodgy!
9. Very good Enjoyed watching that
10. I've found Facebook to be a big one for my little venture. Also a small poster in the local shop/post office works with the older people. Sign writing is also a big one which gets people attention... Especially whilst stopped in traffic jams!!
11. Word of mouth is the biggest form of advertising
12. Cheers Bob. As much as I like (love) the Amorak I agree with you that it's more of a car than a commercial vehicle. With it also being the most expensive on the market!!!! I believe it looks nice, but it's down to practicality and versatility rather than looks. Although at the moment I am only a subby and don't usually take my truck to jobs, I usually only take my climbing kit and saw. It's going to be more for pleasure and fun although it will serve a purpose and I can continue using it for my own small jobs.
13. I'm not expecting it to be extremely comfortable, by any means... By Mazda is comfortable, and I understand what 4x4's and commercial vehicles are like to drive & ride in. As long as its reliable and comfortable I don't mind!
14. That's what I mean from the farmers review which Johnny Walker posted, it seems like it has been posted by a user rather than someone like Autotrader... I would much rather listen to you and other users, at least I know your saying your honest opinion on it, and your not forcing me to buy it! (Like many car dealers would).
15. Yes, that is very true. It's only because it's new to the UK. When I was in NYC in December I remember seeing a lot of these around, and Dodges. Once they bring more and more trucks & other models of cars into the UK they will be more recognised and they'll be the new leading brand!
16. Good idea The only problem (which probably isn't really a problem) is that the nearest dealer is about 70 miles away. Worth doing it though
17. Two very split/mixed views there! From reading it, I would say that the northern farmer link is based on an individual/a mixture of people who actually use it. Rather than the first link is all bad stuff, yet they are probably only motor experts who are told to say bad stuff because its cheap! I've watched several videos and read different forums with people whom see to like it. I'll do a bit more research and see what happens! Giving the beast a test drive will obviously make my mind up, rather than reading all the forums/reports on the net. Although they are helpful
18. Do you have the link buddy?
19. Pictures!!
20.
Your inbox is full buddy!

21. Thanks for that, that's very reassuring! Cheers Arthur
22. Ssangyong Sports 2.0 4dr Save over 4000 off MRRP This is something a bit different!
23. I'll have a look! Do you have a link please?
