  4. yep on the railway we do no drugs or drink with too right too !!
  5. yeah we do alot of that im working on the railway so gotta be done at night
  6. ha nah they only drag on mud know what you mean though
  7. yeah its the same winch just not harken the plate just needs a phew adjustments like the redirect for the rope .but works really well for 290 quid .using it tonight on a nice dead tree that needs rigged
  8. ha sorry mate ment grcs
  9. i made the gprs myself its a 46 lewmar winch bought it for 250 and made the plate for 40 very pleased with it . its a 2 speed 44-1
  10. i sometimes use 4 blocks together to make a 5-1 system to drag 5 tonne logs up banks with track chipper or landy
  11. ha there will be more . alot of hard work paid for that .
  12. yeah about 6 months old all my old kit got stolen !!!!
  13. love my kit
  14. love my kit !
  15. i know all that but sometimes when chogging the log needs to drop a good ft i just want to be able to drop bigger pieces
  16. thats what I'm saying the rope needs to be the weakest link so the strop that we use to attach the block needs to be stronger and the only one i can find is 9 tonne mbs ! .and well i lowered a 1800 kg log straight on the back of a transit it got weighed at the tip !
  17. just found out swl is wll they changed it over the last 3 years 20mm double estelon good strong rope .so i could lower a tonne
  18. i wouldn't have to worry about the anchor if I'm chogging a 4-5 ft wide oak lol
  19. ok mate just checked it was wll so what would the swl be ? and the 3 tonne strop does that not need to be divided by 10 to get a swl ?
  20. my dmm block is 3 ton each side so the pin is 6 ton swl so for me to come even close to using the block to its potential i would need a 60 ton strop to attach the block to the tree !
