  14. Hi, what is the setup that comes off the hydraulic lever for.
  15. saw and axe for us too, i have a full time job 60-70hrs a week and on a sunday i cut about 2 m3 in an about 50 mins, then on a monday when children are in nursery my missus splits and puts in m3 vented bags, she says it only takes her an hour and half a cube lol.
  16. there is one way to find out, get your chainsaw and axe out, cut and spit your load and see what you get, thats exactly what i am doing at the mo, i have weighed 4 cube that i did and they came to 1880 kg(470kg each) so if i got the correct weight on the load that would equate to 55 bags, this is birch and i know that is not as dense as some other hard woods.
  17. I know i am getting 460kg per cube on average and when i have cut and split(chainsaw and axe) that load i will double check with the amount of bags i get from it but could be a while
  18. See.....thats what you get when you come across a fork lift in the middle of the road and have to swerve to miss it.
  19. weight ticket said 26 tonnes and i have my own weighbridge, we had cut and split around 6 cubic meters out of this at an average of 460kg per cube bag:001_rolleyes:
  20. here we go, this is about 23 tonnes of birch.
  21. First off i think you want to forget the "tonne bag" thing, to give you an idea i sell tote bags of aggregates (80x80x80) that works out at .512 of a cube, and i also sell animal feed in totes(90x90x90) that is .729 of a cube, but when i sell logs i put them in a cubic meter bag which is more or less twice the sie of the agg bag and i do this so people know what they are getting.
  22. sell you mine if your interested, i dont have sides for it though.
  23. will do, im interested in getting my own little loads when there is some local stuff about.
  24. Wet mouldy wood i dont want lol,
  25. HI how are you, I got the bags from Bagssupplies, i think they were £5.75, but not 100%. I have a 50 barrow bags too. I have got a timber grab for my 10 tonner now so just have to fit it a do the bolsters, when i get a chance lol.
