  1. This is an IWT 16ft tiltbed, i use it normaly to tow my race car and i have a cover for it .
  2. At the moment they have a supplie in plastic bags from a large local supplier, but they are charging £3.50 a bag to the petrol station. I was told that a polytunnel classes as a solar kiln, is this correct.
  3. No, as long as i have bags printed with kiln dried on them.
  4. I need to kiln dry some of my wood to supply a petrol station that wont take anything else, what is the best and cheapest way of doing this, i will need to state on the bags that it has been kiln dryied, would a polytunnel do the job.
  5. gtw stands for gross train weight, that is your max overall weight of van and trailer, but you must not go over the gross weight of either individually, im not sure on the tacho thing but i think you have to run one if it is commercial and you are over 3500kg gross but i,nm not 100%
  6. I have a nice pile of Birch that i,m getting ready to sell next winter, my question is, is it best to leave in lengths til then or split it now and put in cube vented bags, or will this make them go a bit mouldy. Thanks, Doug.

  8. At the moment its around 40% moisture, i have brought a load and hope it will be dry for me to sell next winter, is it ok on its own or should i mix with oak or something.

  10. I need help lol. has anyone an idea of where i can get a kindling machine, what price they might be and what is the best make to go for, and what is the best wood to use as kindling.
  11. Hello everyone, i was very interested in this machine and sent the seller a message through ebay and asked how much he was wanting to get and if he would sell early, the next thing i know is ebay have suspended his account.

  13. im just starting out on the fire wood, i have a load of mixed hardwood coming on saturday (ash oak a bit of birch) but i dont think 26tonne will be enough for me. i am open to all advice and help any one can give me.....like a free load of hard wood lol. Do you know dave garrett
