To think I use to get these jobs done with a Stihl MS 194T. Here is a video from a few years ago where we had to use a porta wrap to bring down nearly every limb. The tree was growing through the deck and it was tough. Although the 194T is a good saw, the power is not so good. I'm glad to have the 201 now, way more power. Any suggestions on a top handle saw?
Watch as it struggles to cut this maple.
Did you have the camera hatched to the saw !

So what did you mean to say when you wrote this, as it seems like a straightforward statement?
Joe didn't say that .

Nice chap he was too, much like open spaceman, id only met him a few times at shows and had a natter. He was still teaching apprentices until not so long ago I believe. Well respected man from what I know.
I used to see him at least once a week when walking my spaniel . We would chat for a bit and say see you later bud . When he was not at last years West Dean wood fair I did wonder if he was ok . He had just hasnded over his charcoal patch to Phil of " Brushwood Tree Care ".

The gains always sound great but if you purchased in Nov 2021, you won't be feeling so chipper.
Now if you purchased in Dec 2022...now may be a good time to sell.
Steve , I have some dosh to " invest " but I don't trust coz I don't understand it .

It's cleaning up nicely really.
I'll post up some more pics when I get it back together.
Had to mix up some fuel as it states 20:1 😁
Got no spark so need to go through it after work tomorrow.. I like it.
Certainly will cut something with it to see how nasty it is 😂
Don't know if I'll sell it or not. .. you want it?
Don't go down the 20:1 rout unless you have some 68year old oil . If you are using modern synthetic 2T oil . 50:1 will be better . Oil tech has moved on considerably since then .

Looks a bit like something used in forging, to cut hot metal. One person holds it on the metal, the other hammers the back of it to drive it through...
Yep , seen that done . 👍
