Must have been a very old Charnwood,   are you getting ash build up on the left hand side of the glass or have they now redesigned them ?.

    A

I have an early version of the Burley 5KW and I don't get an ash build up on the left hand side of the glass . Probably had it 10 years ? Some times get a " bloom " in the centre but it rubs off quite easily .

Not remarkable trees as such but I was impressed to see such large grafted trees and how obvious the graft union is.

Couple of questions. What trees are they? I suspected lime, but not very confident. Secondly, why are the grafts straight across the stem, rather than along a diagonal line across like fruit tree grafts often are?

Spotted them in the middle of Coventry. A surprising end to a surprising visit. I wasn't expecting it to be so nice!

Both halves look lime to me . Could it be something like small leaved lime grafted onto a different lime rootstock ?

Well the pistol is only going to happen in northern Ireland or if you're a vet wanting a single shot under section 5 if memory serves.

Plus it's reasonable force, whilst a grey area it didn't go to well for the farmer about twenty years ago.

The knacker man round here has a .45 revolver I think it is .

    Really?

He barely threw a punch the second half of the fight.  Joseph boxed clever.  Worked him out and knew he would fade as the fight went on.

Perfect game plan from Andy Lee.

    Well done Joseph Parker.

Well to be honest I only saw the highlights and they were Parker being dropped twice .  You are probably right .
