  1. like this one for example Lumag HC15 RAMBO Garden Chipper 120mm Capacity German Quality Great Price | eBay
  2. That does look interesting.... and a briggs and stratton motor. It says 80mm but there are other lower powered chippers being advertised saying they'll chip 120mm.... i think you could get 100mm of wood through it, the opening is big enough! bloody cheap though...
  3. Wood Species - Moisture Content and Weight My thinking is, with the above table (one aimed at brittish common trees would be better yet) I can actually tot up a slightly more accurate feel for how much weight I'm putting on the lowering kit. Thanks !
  4. Heya all. I'm after some information on the forces generated when rigging, on different parts of the rigging equipment. Can anyone recommend any reading ? Or like a work book ? Thanks
  5. What do people make of these then? Look at this on eBay Wood chipper 5x10 inch capacity 15hp price inc vat CE approved Off road towable | eBay
  6. Where's the best place to find a used cs100 guys and girls ??

Heya Shavey, can you give us a price on a chain brake band for a ea7900? thanks
  8. Heya, Are you the U.K importer? Do you demo the machines? also do you have a parts catalogue? thanks
  9. Yeah definitely! but there's competition and then there's a knock off copy. If this machine is made well and parts and service are well priced/good then the machines a no brainer if it suits your requirements. I wonder if they demo
  10. It's a Brigg and Stratton engine so spares for that won't be an issue. Like you say it does look very similar. I guess a parts catalogue would be interesting... and also how could a company make such a blatant copy without the patents ..?
  11. Heya all, just wondering if anyone has heard of this company? Found this chipper on ebay: PERUZZO 4" PROFESSIONAL WOOD CHIPPER B+S ENGINE18HP EL.START SELF PROPELLED | eBay which looks awesome. They also do a wheeled version which looks pretty much like an exact copy of a greenmech cs100... they even use the same power unit.. anyone had any dealings?? thanks
  12. do you notice any slack in the drive train? as in when you put it in first at a stand still and begin to releas the clutch is the drivetrain smooth and fluid or clunky and jerky? the only time ive had vibrations at a set speed its been UJs.. Wheel bearings tend to make a lot of noise but not vibrate, unless theyve collapsed :C
  13. Dont forget the rear diff should be a limited slip, I think the oil takes a bit of a beating. Read somewhere that its good to drop the oil in the rear diff every 5k? Are you sure its not a UJ?
  14. Yep. At least you don't even get to have the pleasure of working for them!
  15. you could get the block skimmed as well.. check the rad hasn't warped... not sure what else really! hairline cracks bores should be fine unless it was running really weak for some reason?
  16. Is your truck standard in terms of ride height etc? Thanks
  17. how did you find the difference in size effected the truck ? i think im going to get some cooper discoverers at3's and some 15 inch steels to go with - only do light off roading for access to jobs etc, plus spend a fair bit of time clattering around single track roads, so braking is pretty important... thanks for the help
  18. this size looks good Ford Ranger Forum UK
  19. hmm, brakes are bad enough as it is! thanks dent
  20. ideally a 245/75/16 would be good because its a 30.5 outside diameter so would help with the gearing a bit, plus still pretty skinny so would help with the fuels a bit... bloody expensive trying to get anything in that size though. other option is some discoverys 265/70/15 on some 15 steels for £410 https://www.4x4tyres.co.uk/
  21. Really?!??!?! thats massive !!! wicked.
  22. yeah that's what i was thinking. Its a bit **** really, only a small village here and still have neighbours like this ?!
  23. heya mate. yep that was suggested, to keep costs down etc, but the lady next door doesn't want to look at the wall, which is why she wants the big fence
  24. Now there's a thought... Hope not! But that would explain why the neighbour isn't keen on a second quote and general mysterious behaviour
