Hi All, I have been working as a self-employed groundie for various tree surgeons for several years, and this is the first time I have encountered this problem. A guy I have done a couple of days' work for is refusing to pay me for spurious reasons. Does anyone have any tips on what my practical options are. I live in Scotland, so possibly the details of how small claims courts etc work could be different from in England. Any advise much appreciated. Cheers, Dru

Hi all, I'm based in Glasgow, happy to travel. I am NPTC trained and qualified, and have 4 years self-employed experience cutting trees, in domestic/urban arboriculture setting as well as forestry and peat bog restoration. I have held my climbing tickets (also NPCT) for 2 years. I have all my own PPE, a reliable chainsaw, climbing/rescue kit, chipper ticket, first aid at work, full clean UK driver's license, and my own transport. Hi Everyone, I'm based in Glasgow, am NPTC certified, have about 3 years self-employed experience covering most ground-based aspects of arb work and felling, a reliable chainsaw and a clean driving license. I also have my climbing tickets, and am looking to consolidate with a bit more experience on that side of things. NPTC certified (CS 30,31 & 38) Clean UK driving licence First aider All own PPE and reliable saw I have 2 years experience in arboricultural groundie work, and felling.
